Adam eventually introduced me to his dad, who is the big boss man, and everyone else in their gang. He said they have a couple more, but they're out getting stuff... stealing stuff...
"We have kids here, too. They're our siblings." Adam tells me, as he brings me outside, where I get a good look at the house and my surroundings.
Apparently, I'm in the middle of a forest, where nobody would hear me even if I tried to scream. The house is huge, as well... although, I kind of should have figured that, considering how many guys live here, and apparently their girlfriends and their siblings.
"Abby!" Adam calls, and I hear children laughing and screaming coming from the forest. "Coming, Adam!" I hear a little girl's voice call from the forest. Soon, a little girl runs up to us, and she stares at me for a moment, before hiding behind Adam. "Who is she?"
"This is Faith. She's going to be here for a while." Adam tells her, picking her up.
He then turns to me. "If you do anything to hurt my sister or anyone else for that matter, I won't hesitate to kill you." He whispers in my ear, so that Abby can't hear. I just nod.
"Where's daddy?" Abby asks, looking up at her brother. "Inside. Probably in the living room watching something." He responds, and she nods, jumping down from his arms and running inside.
I can't stop the small smile forming on my face. I didn't know that Adam Sterling, one of the most wanted criminals in the world, would be so loving and caring. Adam continues to show me around and explaining the rules to me, until a car pulls up. It's another van, but this one is smaller, like a family van, and it's red.
I gasp when I see who steps out.
"Jack?!" I yell. He spins around, and his eyes widen at the sight of me.
"Adam, I thought we were going to wait before we bring her into all of this?" He asks, walking up to Adam and I.
"My dad wanted her sooner." Adam says, crossing his arms and leaning against the side of the house.
"Uhm, hello, I have no clue what's going on. Jack, why the hell are you here? What the hell is going on?" I ask, crossing my own arms and looking at Jack. I admit, I feel way more comfortable to lash out on these guys, now that I know my own brother is here.
"Faith, calm down. I... I'm sorry I lied to you. I don't work at a stupid café, I work for this jackass here." Jack says, motioning to Adam, who smirks slightly.
"You told her you work at a café?" He asks, and Jack nods. "Bro! You get paid way more than you would at a café! I'm surprised your sister never suspected anything." Adam says, causing me to roll my eyes.
Then it hits me.
"Jack... you're a... a--" I can't seem to finish my sentence, so he finishes it for me.
