That Person

CHAPTER 2

When they got back Seokmin, who is one of Jeonghan's roommates at the moment hugged Jisoo from the back, just greeting him. There was a weird expression that showed on Jeonghan's face, barely noticeable. Although Jisoo noticed he didn't say anything about it.

"Hey guys.." Woozi didn't specify any names so all of them looked his way waiting for what he had to say. He was talking to Hoshi, Seungkwan and Hansol who were with him plus Jeonghan and Jisoo at the moment.

"Am I the only one that thinks that Jeonghan and Jisoo look good together? Like looking at them, they look REALLY good together." The others stared at the two as if examining them.

Jeonghan grabbed Jisoo by the arm and pulled him close acting as if they were a couple.

"Oh really?" Jeonghan asked.

This action caught Jisoo by surprise. He then unconsciously yanked his arm off Jeonghan's grasp a little roughly which startled everyone. They were left with an awkward silence that seemed to last hours.

"I-I remembered that I have to do something right now, I have somewhere to be. Bye." Just like that Jisoo ran off before anyone could say anything.

He rested his back on the wall outside not fully regretting what he had done, but regretting it enough for it to bother him. He didn't want to get caught up in a love triangle and ruin his friendship.

"Am I really contemplating the fact that I'm in the friendzone?" He asked himself.

"I didn't mean for it to look so rude, but it's just so frustrating." Jisoo rested his back against the wall slowly sliding down and sitting on the floor.

Moments later of just sitting there he heard the door slowly open, thinking it was Jeonghan he stood up ready to apologize. He then found out that it was just one of his roommates.

"Oh.." That's all he had to say when he noticed who it was.

"Not happy to see me?" Seungkwan had a fake hurt look on his face that made Jisoo push him softly.

They both sat back down on the floor.

"Didn't you have somewhere to be?" Seungkwan raised an eyebrow.

This made Jisoo sit stiff. He thought about what he could say to save himself, but he couldn't think of anything so he just accepted the defeat.

"Shit, well you caught me." Jisoo looked at Seungkwan's raised eyebrow and forced it down with his finger. Seungkwan laughed for a bit before going serious again.

"What's up with you?" He turned around so he was facing Jisoo completely.

He covered his face with his hands and let a big sigh escape.

"I didn't mean for it to look rude or anything." Finally he said, his hands still covering his face.

"I'm not talking about that. That reaction was just...odd. Aren't you and Jeonghan like REALLY close? What happened there." Seungkwan leaned forward, grabbed Jisoo's arms and dragged them down before sitting back like he was before.

"...I don't know." Jisoo threw his arms up and let them fall down.

"Look, I'm not 100% sure about what's going on and I can end up making so many conclusions in my head. But I think you need someone to talk to someone, or at least talk about it with Jeonghan." Seungkwan stopped talking, he was waiting to see if Jisoo said anything.

"I know that you already figure out what's going on. Like you said, maybe not a 100%, but you do know your stuff." Jisoo looked at Seungkwan.

Seungkwan just smiled at Jisoo letting him know that what he said was true. Jisoo couldn't help but smile back at him. Although, he was waiting for him to say it. He wanted to hear it from him so he just stared.

"Alright, alright! I'm in love with Jeonghan. There, happy?" Jisoo let out a weird sound after saying that. The way he said it made Seungkwan laugh, Jisoo joining him.

"I figured." He said before stopping and looking down.

"He likes Seungcheol a lot and well, I'm in the friend zone... HECK I'm in the brother zone. The worst thing about it is that I get so frustrated because something happens and you get your hopes up. Then you get reminded that nothing more than friendship is going to happen." He laid down on the floor, he couldn't stand it anymore.

"Honestly you don't know if you and Jeonghan are going to end up together." Seungkwan rested his back against the wall putting Jisoo's legs on his lap.

"I knoooow and that's also so frustrating. Jeonghan is practically going through the same thing with Seungcheol. But Seungcheol is way more of a player."

"I don't know though. Do I tell him? The thing is that I don't know if I should tell him and possibly ruin our friendship, or not say anything and ruin the potential love. AGH!" Jisoo added letting out a frustrated yell.

Seungkwan pat Jisoo's head not knowing how to respond. He knew it was tough but he wasn't too sure himself how to deal that.

"I'm not trying to sound cocky or anything, but I've never been in the friend zone so I'm not sure how to respond or what exactly I should tell you."

"It's fine, honestly. Thank you for listening to me though."

"You're welcome. You see? It feels nice letting things out and telling someone about how you feel or about what's going on." Seungkwan felt like such a therapist.

"It did feel nice, I guess it was about time that I opened up to someone about this." Jisoo sat down again.

"Right."

They stood up when they heard someone coming, it was just Seungcheol though Jisoo was wondering if he heard anything because it was so coincidental that he appeared out of nowhere when they finished talking. He didn't think about it too much.

'I'm probably just too paranoid.' He thought to himself.

"Hey guys." Seungcheol said and they waved. As he walked past both of them, he turned his head to look at Jisoo and gave him a smirk, looking directly into his eyes. Jisoo just stood there looking back not knowing what to think about it.

"Did he just?" Asked Seungkwan.

"Yup." Answered Jisoo.

Jisoo doesn't want to jump to conclusions, but that was definitely weird.
