It was 6 years after the war, Jason and Piper were walking in the park when a little blond girl about 4 came running up to them squealing being chased by a little brunette boy looking 5. She rapped her arms around Jason's leg and hid her face in his jeans. Piper was laughing and awing.
Suddenly a guy who they were assuming was the father because he had the little girls blond hair and the little boys green eyes came running up and scooped up the little boy and threw him over his shoulder while the little boy was squealing.
He slowed to a stop trying to balance the boy on his shoulder when he saw the little girl still clinging to Jason's leg.
He introduced himself " hey I'm Aaron Shellings, he set down the little boy who he introduced as jake and pointed to the little girl who came running to him and introduced her as Sam.
Jason and Piper introduced themselves and they talked for a bit and found that Aaron was an only parent and had just only moved to town and was still getting to know the place so decided to take a walkways his kids.
After talking for a bit they went there
Separate ways after trading numbers and still kept in touch.
Piper often babysits Sam and Jake and has started a little daycare type thing as she also sits other demigod children with Percy's help because he is surprisingly great with children.
