I opened the door already feeling the cold rain. I stepped out onto the porch still in my black combat boots. The cold wind had already frozen me half way solid. I trudged outside with a backpack filled with stuff.

I began to walk as I saw water only getting higher flooding the streets. I turned the corner and crossed the water filled street. There was nobody. The only reason cars were still there was because it was too flooded to drive.

The rain was starting to get heavy as I continued down the road. Trees had scarce branches and leaves. Shit was all over the place. Branches crashed into cars, the roofs of some houses had tree limbs in them.

I finally got up to my house. Thank god. Damn I have to bring my guitar for sure. I walked to my house. The old willow tree was still standing tall but weak. I loved that tree. The door was unlocked so I walked in.

I shut the door behind me and looked around. Things were knocked over and missing. It was like hell in here I thought to myself. I walked upstairs and opened my door to my room. It was untouched.

She didn't care did she? I walked out onto my deck outside. I rested on the wall and slid down. I wrapped myself in my arms and bawled. My mom didn't care if died did she? My mom and I have had a bad history. We really didn't get along and we hated eachother.

I stood up. My mom didn't really miss me! I screamed. I called Mirrie but she didn't pick up. Thank god I couldn't deal with talking to her right now. I left a voice mail saying Hey Mirrie I can't get back. There is rubble and crap all over. We won't get to eachother in this rain.Don't worrie about me ill be fine. I love you. I hung up the phone.

Okay. I shrank back down and just sat there. I turned off my phone and watched as the rain pounded onto everything in sight. The cold wind blew mist from the rain at me. I started to smell the blood from when I fell.

I walked inside and went into the bathroom. I flicked the light switch up and nothing turned on. Fuck the powers out. I turned on the water in the bathtub and decided to take a cold shower. I went into my room to get my towel the out of habit shut the bathroom door.

I slipped of my clothes and slowly got into the shower. The water was so cold it was making it hard to breathe. I washed my hair softly and watched in the faint light from the skylight my own blood run down the drain.

Once I was clean I stepped out of the shower. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around myself. I opened the door and walked back into my room. I shut my window and doors. Grabbing my phone I turned it on and I blasted my music as I plugged in my phone.

I pulled on a new pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt. Grabbing the brush, I brushed my bright red hair out then put it up into a messy bun. Okay so now I have to...
