The light shone in through the window warming the left side of my face. I listened to the drowned out sound of the English teachers mumbling. In the farthest table in the back of the class I sat.

I looked down at the piece of paper before me. I bubbled in most of the questions until time was up. The day dragged on as I sat in the very back of all my classes.

As the bell rang the classes rushed out to lunch. I dragged along after the rush left. I left the class for Mirrie.

Mirrie was 15 like me in 10th grade at Fenlonial High. She was normal hight were I was just short. I had always been a short kid. Mirrie had brown medium length hair. Her blue eyes I had always loved.

Well that was a drag. How did you do on your English final? I filled in almost all of the questions I proceeded to say. I think I nailed it! Mirrie had always been smarter than me. Not that I was stupid but I was no straight "A" student.

We ate lunch an walked around campus till the bell rang. We quickly hurried to class and sat through our last classes until we could leave. Mirrie and I had all of our classes together but sometimes we don't get seats next to eachother if we are late.

Mirrie and I walked home together untill she turned into a street and I kept straight. I got home and took off my bag. I walked past the mirror as my bright red hair and green eyes shone.

Later that night I ate leftover pizza. I brushed my teeth and took off my wrist bands. Slipping into an oversized t-shirt and shorts I laid down in bed. I shut my eyes and fell asleep shortly after in surprise.
