You placed your phone on the couch, smiling. You couldn't even stop smiling. Even if you guys kissed. You knew in your heart that you actually loved him. But, yourself was denying it because he might not feel the same way. . .

M- We gonna hang out today or what?
You got a text from Mark while you were at work. You weren't sure if you were allowed to message him during your shift or not. There were no people in line so, why not?
You grabbed out your phone to message him back.
Y/n- Calm down, I'm still at work.
M- Awee :'( I'll pick you up?
Y/n- I mean, if you're not busy and you positively, absolutely want to.
M- Of course I want to. I suggested it, didn't I?
Y/n- Yeah, you did.
You heard footsteps so you shoved your phone into your pocket.
"Good job, Y/n. I just wanted to give you your paycheck." Your boss said. He handed you your paycheck. "Keep up the outstanding work." And, he walked away. You pulled your phone out and your shift was finally done.
Y/n- Markkkkkkkkkkk. I'm finishedddddd.
M- Alright. I'll be there soon, yeah?
Y/n- Yeahhhhhh.
You went over to an empty seat and sat down, chillin' and waiting for Mark.
-A few minutes later-
The front door to Starbucks's dinged. I didn't bother to look. Pretty sure it was another customer. If Mark was here, we would text you, right? Someone tapped your shoulder which made you jump but, then your phone went off.
"Hold up, whoever you are. Gotta check my phone. . ." You grabbed your phone out of your pocket and opened it.
"Nice lock screen." The voice said. It sounded exactly like Mark.
"Ar- Mark? Oh, why didn't you send me a text?" You looked at him, curious.
"I did." He pointed towards your phone and it buzzed.
"Yeah, now." You rolled your eyes at him and lightly punched his shoulder.
"Ow. . . ?" He whined, rubbing his shoulder.
"C'mon, silly. Let's go hang out!" You tugged on his hand, closely holding hands. Mark looked down at his and yours hands. You blushed and immediately pulled your hand away.
"Yeah. . . Let's go." He scratched the back of his neck. You were about to open the door but, he held it open for you. "Ladies first."
You nodded your head and went out the door, blushing lightly still. "Thank you, Mark."
"You're welcome." He smirked and winked. He closed the door after he got out.
"Where are we going?"
"Oh, I thought you'd just like to chill? Like, at my place? Away from Jack and Felix." He smiled slightly.
"Um. Sure." You giggled. You both went to his car but, again, acting like a gentleman, he opened your door for you. "Thank you, again." (Who says chivalry is dead?)
He nods and makes sure your fully in before he closes the door. After he closes the door, he goes over to his side.
'He is such a gentleman.' You think. 'That's another thing I love about him.'
You sighed.
"Something on your mind?" Mark asked, watching the road.
'Did I seriously just do that? Shit.'
"Oh, uh, n-nothing." You replied, playing with your hoodie that you were wearing.
"You know you can tell me anything, right?" He said, sincerely.
'I couldn't just say, "Hey, Mark. I like you, really! Not because I'm a fangirl but, I like you for who you really are. Hopefully, this doesn't ruin our friendship!" That'll be stupid.'
You really didn't want to mess up this friendship with him. "Yeah, I know. And, I have nothing on my mind." You lied to him.
"Okay, good." He replied and the rest of the car ride was silent.
