''You're an ass.'' His female co-star, Scarlett, spoke.

''Nothing new here.'' He rolled his eyes.

''I can't wait for filming to be over.''

''Well then, do everybody a favor and leave,'' Sebastian answered without looking up his phone.

''I hope you realize how much you've changed since you've been dating the fangirls on tumblr, before it's too late.'' Scarlett frowned down to him. The kid had changed a lot since she's first met him.

''Whatever. My fans are awesome.''

''You shouldn't drink and drive man,'' suggested Chris trying to hold his friend back from doing something stupid. The music was loud enough to cover their voices, they had to scream. People were passing by to get in the club.

''I'll be fiiiine,' 'he said taking out his keys. ''I'm invincible man! I've sign the biggest contract of my career so far and people love me!'' He started walking backwards in direction of his new bought Audi R8. ''Nothing can stop me!''

''Seb – you're still human!''

''Not on such an amazing day Chris! Woohoo!'' He raised his fist in the air for a second or two, feeling incredibly good. Nothing could stop him. He will conquer the world. One damn movie at the time.

He started driving back home when doubt started to creep in his thoughts. Maybe Chris was right, he shouldn't have taken the car. God knows he can afford all the taxi rides in town. Hands on the wheel, he turned left on the particularly curvy road.

Why so much light all of sudden?

His hand slipped on the wheel.

''But it's so far!'' Her sister's voice was too loud on the phone. Harlyn lowered it to a more acceptable level.

''Rae, it's a thirty minutes ride. I've been so many times to grandma's, I could drive my eyes closed. I can't just leave her alone...''

''Yeah, I know. I just can't get rid of that odd feeling. Just be careful alright?''

''Have I ever given you reasons to worry about me?''

Rae laughed whole-heartedly. ''Nah, that's true. See you soon!''

Harlyn put on her 'long distance' playlist on her iPhone, and connected it to her stereo with the help of an AUX cable. Louis Armstrong, ''La vie en rose'', filled in the air. Harlyn took a deep breath. It was 1 A.M. and Grandma Claudette had called her in for a supposedly very important something.

''Here I come grandma, we better bake some really good cupcakes this time.''

|| I can't remember how, I can't remember why, I'm lying here tonight. ||

The moment they collided was everything but ordinary. To any outsider, it looked exactly like a car crash from which nobody would make it out alive.

Little did they know, something magical happened that night.

While Sebastian was pulled forward by an incredible force through the front window of his car, his eyes met the greenest of the emeralds between pieces of glass. For a brief second, time stopped. And so did both of their hearts. Their souls connected, but never really disconnected. For a brief instance, they had become one. On her side, Harlyn was pushed backwards, against her seat. She felt as if all the air of the universe had escape her lungs to pressure her entire body into nothingness. It was rather painful, but she focused on those two sapphires that held her gaze with a fearless attitude.
