WARNING: character death, posttraumatic shock, suicide, cheesy lyrics

Nico was wandering around camp amelessly. He was worried about Will, who still hadn't come back from his quest. He had a bad feeling ...

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey.

And that was, when it happened. He heard a camper yelling something, then he saw other campers panic and running to Thalia's Tree.

And then he scenced death.

He began to run, the strange feeling quickly growing stronger inside of him.
He was terrified at the scene.

There was a monster outside the camp, which the demigods immediatly started to take care of.
But there was also a corpse laying next to the Tree.
The corpse of a badly injured and heavingly bleeding boy.
The corpse of a boy with golden hair and still opened light blue eyes.
The corpse of a freckled son of Apollo.

The corpse of Will Solace.

You'll never know, dear, how much I love you.

Everyone who had known him cried. All of them - except for one.
Nico di Angelo was standing there, still expecting Will to stand up and the Stolls to say: "You actually fell for that!"

But of course, none of that was happening. He just stood there, slowly realizing that his sunshine was gone ...

He couldn't cry. Therefor he would have had to be sad. But he wasn't. He didn't feel sad. He felt ... nothing.

He didn't notice the people trying to talk to him or himself falling to his knees.
He didn't notice Jason lifting him up and taking him to the infirmary.
He didn't notice the sad Apollo kids mumbling about a "posttraumatic shock".
He didn't notice anything.

He just noticed, that Will Solace would never speak to Nico di Angelo again.

Please don't take my sunshine away.

And after a week of Nico being in the infirmary, a doctor found a corpse next to the sink.
The corpse of a heavingly bleeding boy.
The corpse of a boy with opened wrists and closed eyes.
The corpse of a blackhaired son of Hades.

The corpse of Nico di Angelo.
