After a few aggravating classes it was finally recess time. I step outside the building and see a spot open under the tree at the very far point of the school's yard. "Finally, some peace" I murmur to myself. I lay down on the grass and pull out my lunch bag. I open my ramune, take a small sip when a sudden, rough movement made me drop it. Sighting, i realized it was Xian. How did he get here?

"Jeje. I knew you were going to be here! Hi." Xian said, cheerful as ever. I turn to look at him with an angry face. His reaction was immediate. He backed off a little then noticed my ramune on the grass and a good amount of it spilled, also my sweater and pants got drops of it.

"Aiko, am sorry. . . I didn't mean to do that, really." He sounded honest but I was a little irritated. "You could have just said hi like a normal person" i said, picking up my ramune and cleaning the bottle filled with dirt and one or two ants on the tip. I'm not drinking this anymore. "I am sorry, Aiko. Here, I'll buy you another one." He says, thinking he has gain my forgiveness, but am no saying no to a free drink, besides, he did made me drop mine.

"Alright, alright. Just don't do it again, ok. Where did you come from anyways?" I told him as we walked towards the little store in the cafeteria. It was almost next to the entrance so atleast we can make this quick without bumping into many people. "I got out of class quickly and hid behind the tree. I know that is you favorite spot."

After a few minutes of silence, we got out of the line with a ramune each and head back for the tree. The rest o the students were playing out here too. Football, basketball, even grass-hokey, good ways to warm up in this cold weather, but I don't play sports. Xian is actually a descent football player. I don't know what is he doing wasting his time with me.

We get to the tree and luckily it was still empty. I lay down where I was before and Xian sat next to me. We both started to eat our lunch. Surprisingly, Xian was very quiet and only watched the other students play.

"If you want to play just go." I said, disturbing his line of thoughts. "Come with me." He said. I wasn't done with my lunch and he should already know that am not a fan of sports. I quickly turned him down. He made a pity face, but that won't work on me. I looked away, stubbornly into my answer. He looked at me a second later. "Well, I really don't feel like playing today. Being here is more relaxed, don't you think" I looked at him and nod.

After a while the bell rang and everybody started to make their pace back to their classes. I did the same after most were gone with Xian following me from behind. I hope the rest of the day passes by quickly.
