William slowly makes his way back to Grell's house and a frown spreads across the redheads face. "will you tell me the real reason youre on your roof?" William asks, looking up at the roof. Grell sighs and looks away from William, not wanting to see the disapproving look he will recieve when he tells the brunet the real reason. "i lost my keys and cant get into my house, so im sleeping on my roof." Grell confesses. William only sighs and pushes up his glasses. "Reaper Sutcliff, come down from there." he says. "no!" Grell calls out like a stubborn little child because he doesnt want to come down and get in trouble by William. "Why should i?" he asks, worried about what William could do to him. "i am not going to let you sleep outside." William says, looking up at the red reaper. "youll get sick and i will be forced to take on overtime. you will stay at my house for the night." William continues. Grell gasps, but comes down and rushes to his boss's side. they begin walking back to the Spears Residence in silence, but Grell cant help but stare at the slightly taller reaper skeptically. 

Grell comes to a halt when they reach William's house. "now when i walk in, your wife isnt going to come out and attack me, is she?" Grell asks, worried he will get wounded and wont look like a beautiful lady anymore. William continues to unlock his front door. "i am not nor have i ever been married." he says, opening the door and walking inside. the redheaded shinigami follows him in and closes the door behind him. William's house is nice on the inside and out. black and cream colored inside, tidy, and everything like Will's personality traits. Grell continues to look around cautiously.

"Fiance?" he asks. William stops in his tracks at the question. "i have no relationships and i live alone." he replies coldy. he leaves for a little bit, then comes back with a pillow, white pajamas, and blankets. he walks to the living room and puts the pillow and blankets on the couch, then hands the pajamas to his red haired guest. "the water closet is down the hall. 3rd door on the left." William says. Grell nods and goes into the bathroom to get changed.

when Grell returns, he sees William down by the fireplace, fixing a fire to warm the room. Grell sits cross legged on the couch and watches his boss. "Willy, im not tired. come talk with me." Grell says, giving a large smile to William when he turns around. William sighs and sits down in one of the black comfy looking chairs. "and what were you planning to discuss?" he asks. the redhead sighs and looks around, thinking. "hmmm" he says, tapping his chin. "hmm, hmm, hmmmmm..." Grell continues. "OOO! I KNOW!" Grell exclaims. "why dont you have any pictures anywhere?" he asks. "what would i need pictures for?" William asks monotonely. "DECORATION! my house is FILLED with pictures of myself! some have B-" William cuts the blabbering redhead off. "dont say his name. as long as you are on my property, in my house, and under my roof, you will not speak of him." William says. "okay, okay." Grell says in defeat. "OOO! why dont you have a woman? youre definately handsome enough to have MANY!" William stands abruptly. "Enough questions, Grell Sutcliff. you need rest and so do i." he says and walks out of the living room. soon there is a light click of a door closing. 'what is it with Willy when i mention any sort of relationship about him?' Grell asks himself. he lays down and covers himself with the warm blanket. his mind races with thoughts of William and everything that has happened. soon, he drifts off to sleep.
