*Lilly's pov*
I sighed. I turned around and walked toward another door. I tried to open it but it was locked. I was stuck in a four by eight hallway.
After a while I heard a doorknob twist. I stood up and took an attacking stance. There stood the man from earlier.
"What the hel-" he was cut off by me ripping his throat out. I walked though the door and it was bright in the facility.
"I know where I am..." I said. I was in the basement. If I walked through the front door, there would be about a thousand guards in training.
If I went to my right, it would be a dark room that lead into a dirt part of the facility. It wasn't finished.
No one goes there. It's where I went when I was disappointed in myself. I walked in and it was darker than I thought.
I stepped on something. I picked it up and my face was sprayed. "Crap!' I said. I walked forward, walking past the pillars.
I heard the door open. I froze. Then I smelled the air and relaxed. "Deon, thank god its just you." I said then turned around.
He was dead. I was sprayed. I can't believe anything. I know it only lasted about five minutes, but it messes with your mind. A lot.
I turned around and Joli was there. Dead. Then I looked to my left. Joe. Dead. I turned around again and saw the Delta and the troop. I blinked a couple of times.
Then they were gone. I closed my eyes. I waited for the smell to go. After a couple of minutes I opened my eyes again.
It got even darker. I must have went deeper into the room. I walked around and found a wall.
I walked along the wall until I smelt him. "Deon?" I asked. I heard a growl. A deep one. I looked around and saw nothing.
But then bright Amber eyes glowed in the dark. It was Deon all right. "Deon. Just think. You were sprayed, its not real." I said.
Me trying to get into his head did not work. He walked toward me until I saw his fur. I pushed myself against the wall.
Sprayed wolves were very, very dangerous. I can't even take them out without a weapon.
He couched, ready to attack. I put myself in a defending position. He snarled and attacked.
I dodged it, but barely. He was fast. Like really fast. He crouched low. I can't dodge it again. He'll anticipate it.
He attacked and I backed up, him just missing me. But now he is really close. He got up and jumped at me, catching me.
He pinned me down. His face was so close to mine I could feel his breath on my face.
If I could know how long ago he was sprayed I could stall. "Deon, please. Just think about this." I said, trying to bargain with the wolf.
He growled. Then his eyes didn't look as deranged. He looked confused for a moment before looking at the situation.
Then he growled again. He must have been fighting it. He looked at me and snarled.
"Deon. Please I know your there. Just stop. Then it'll all be over." I said. He looked like he was about to eat me.
He sent daggers my way, I closed my eyes ready for the blow. It never came. I looked up. It was Deon's face.
"Deon!" I said and hugged him. I then let go. Rather quickly I would say. He smiled. "Now get off of me." I said really quickly.
He looked sad. "Why?" He asked. I smirked. "Your naked." He looked down and up really quickly and merged into his wolf.
If he was human be would be blushing his little face off. I sat up and stared at him. There was a little red tint to his face.
I stood up and looked around. It's was brighter now. It must have been the spray.
We walked down to the door on the other side of the long unfinished room. I opened it and there was the bright halls to the rooms of the taken.
Most of them were either killed or turned to the other side. "Ahh. My weapon. Nora told me you were here." A man's voice sounded through the hallways.
Deon looked around as I kept walking. Then I heard footsteps. A troops worth. I stood in my attacking stance.
Then the Delta came around the corner. "Atta- oh. Hi." Carla said. I waved. Then Joe and Joli came around the corner.
"There are troops coming. Hundreds. We need to go. Now." Joli said and looked over to me. Then Deon.
"I'm not going to ask... Yet." She said. "This way." I said and walked towards my old cell.
I then turned and put my hand on the pad next to my door. The wall next to it slid open. "Through here." I said and people started walking through.
Deon walked through and then I. I sealed the door and walked to the front.
"You need to follow me or you'll get very lost. Very. Lost." I said and started walking. It was dark but I knew my way through.
It's sad that I still remember this after so long. After walking for a few minutes we made it.
We walked outside and I made everyone go ahead. Joe and Joli went also. Deon, still in his wolf form, walks up to me.
I'm guessing that him telling me to go. Then that clap. That clap. Why do villains always clap?
"You brought a friend. Nice. Wait. Is that... Deon?" Nora asked. Oh, that got my blood burning.
"Shift!" I yelled.
'Shift. Get everyone to shift and run! Now!' I mind linked to my brother.
'Okay.' He responded.
I shifted and ran, Deon on my tail. 'Remember what you did in the forest? Do that.' I barked to Deon.
He did so gladly. It makes me go faster. Running away, from... Deon. Deon nipped at my tail and I pushed until I couldn't anymore.
"Yeah! Run! Like you always do!" Nora yelled at me. She was right. I always run. I run and hide. From fear.
I need to stand up to myself and fight. We made it back to the pack and went inside. Someone opened the door.
I troted up to my room and kicked it closed. Before I shifted the door was knocked open. The power of not locking it.
'We need to talk.' Deon barked out.
"You always run away!"
Nora's words were bringing through my head.
'Okay'
