Piper Elaine Rose Brown is new to the neighborhood. She had moved to Chicago because of her dads business trip. Every time Piper moves that means more work to catch up on, and lots of packing and un-packing. It's a big mess. Her dad; Danny had told her that he doesn't plan on moving from their new house. So she was excited to hear that they were finally settling somewhere, and that she didn't have to worry about moving again; well until she moved out when she was eight-teen years old. But she had four more years on her, because she had just turned fourteen a couple of weeks ago. There was only one thing that she worried and feared the most, not fitting in, and getting bullied. She only worried about those things the most because, every school she went to she never fit in and was bullied non-stop.
"Hey dad, how far away is this place, because I'm hungry and if we go over and down another hill, I'm going to hurl," said Piper.
"Don't worry, we're almost there. And our maid Karen has already made lunch," replied Danny.
Ten minutes later Piper and her dad arrive at a big yellow, beautiful house.
"We're here sweetie," Danny said thankfully.
Piper grabbed a couple of things from the trunk of the U-Haul and took them inside. As she got to the stair-case her dad had a note on the door, you opened to get up stairs. The note read aloud, "Sweetie I love you and I'm so thankful to have you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I won't let anyone stop me. You will always come first in my life and you know it. Your room is up-stairs to the left, the biggest room in the house. Piper opened the old wooden door, then headed up the wooden stairs. As she entered her room with a king sized bed and a beautiful vanity, she unpacked her things. She looked all around in the big room and nothing seemed interesting. Just a plain, old teenage girls room. Piper surprisingly wanted to go to school, just to see if the could make a friend. But at the moment all that was on her mind was "FOOD"!
After eating the wonderful meal that Karen had made she went up stairs and started down the hall to her bathroom. She lays down her clothes and turned on the faucet to the shower. Hot water came rushing through the pipes and out of the shower head. After her shower she blow dried her hair and went to bed, because she had to get up early and go to school to be enrolled.
