Choir Stinks.

Andrew's POV.
I had to change electives. In Band, there was Adam, and this may sound strange, but I thought he was cute. That's not good.
I told my mom there was a kid who ate boogers that sat next to me. She said that she would call the band teacher and tell the kid to stop eating boogers. I said, "Are you crazy? The band teacher probably doesn't know he eats boogers. Also, teachers have tried since second grade to stop him from eating boogies."
That was a lie, what I said there. But still, I just needed my mom to change my elective, so I told her straight out.
She asked, "Why? Don't you like instruments? You play the piano, the violin, the flute, the cell-"
"Ma, it's no good. It's not fun, you have to pay for instruments, and there's the booger kid. Please please please change my electives," I begged.
Mom sighed and said, "Okay, sweetheart. I'll call the middle school."
I breathed a huge sigh of relief and said, "Thanks, mom!"

When I went to school the next day, I was handed a new schedule by my teacher, and my 7th-period class said "Choir." I stared at my schedule in horror, but since I'd changed it once, I couldn't change it again. There was a rule about that... I think. I sighed.
Luckily, no one heard about it, so I wasn't teased today.
I got to choir early, and only two people were there: the choir teacher and some girl.

I sat on a side chair. People, or girls rather, were piling in, and not all of them noticed me. I saw the choir teacher glance at me in surprise. When the girls finished their warm-ups, the choir teacher said, "Are you supposed to be here?"

"I want to say no, but yes," I said. Some girls giggled.

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

We sang Light Up the World from Glee and Fireflies from Owl City. Afterward, the choir teacher glanced at his sheet.

He said, "Wow. You weren't kidding. I thought you were."

I sighed. "I thought I was too."

Some more giggles.

We sang it again, and the choir teacher handed me the music and said, "Here...Andrew. My name is Mr. Sandy."

I nodded. When we were in the middle of Light up the World, I loudly said, "I don't know where I am!"

That was true. My pages got messed up.

Some more giggles.

That was when I first noticed the girl beside me. Her hair was fawn, it was wavy, she had striking green eyes, and she was quite tall. Way taller than me. And if I may, she was quite pretty, and not in the "I'm gonna hang with my girls and be all I-know-it".

"Were your pages messed up?" she asked quietly.
I answered, "Yes."
She gently took the music away from me. I saw that she had long fingers. She took the pages, 6 and 13, and put them before 7 and 12. That's all I saw anyway.
I sighed in relief, although I just wanted to get out of there. "Thanks."
She smiled, and said, "You're welcome."
She has a nice smile.

Just so you know, I'm not a boy. It's been a little difficult to write from a guy's POV. I mean... It's not that difficult.........................
