For most of her 16 years of life Adalia Rain had dreamed of the perfect happy ending. The white wedding, the baby, the perfect house and most of all a fairytale ending. Her mother and father had separated when she was only young and from then on she had vowed that she would never allow her children of the future to go through that pain. The pain the divorce of her parents had caused her, made her even more determined to have the perfect family life. She wasn't interested in flings and meaningless sex, she wanted commitment and love, none of which any of the boys at her school were offering. However when she enrolled into college, all that changed...
It was early September and Adalia had just started her classes at Lakewood Community College. She'd made a lot of good friends but had realised that the boys here were the same as the ones at school; childish, uncommitted and generally quite annoying. Her goal of finding the perfect life partner would have to wait a while. An abundance of male attention was thrown at her but she wasn't that sort of girl, she knew what she wanted and she wouldn't settle for less.
One day, whilst daydreaming in her English class, Adalia noticed the new boy staring into the distance. He had piercing, ocean blue eyes and messy light brown hair which complimented his features perfectly. He'd been at Lakewood community college for around a week, he kept himself to himself and seemed happy that way. Adalia was intrigued by him, she wanted to know his story, he didn't seem like your average Lakewood boy. He seemed mature and focussed, yet mysterious, which made him attractive to her. He was dangerous but safe and beautiful but rough, like someone you would read about in a book, not someone who really existed.
After the lesson was over she watched him leave the classroom and head down the corridor, so she followed and was surprised to see that his locker was two away from hers. As she opened her locker and deposited her books and equipment, her eyes never left him. A few moments went by until he turned and his eyes locked onto her gaze. They stayed like that for a few seconds, almost like they were figuring eachother out.
"Hi" Adalia broke the the silence. The mystery boy stayed quiet, still gazing, until he eventually spoke.
"My names Kieran"
"My names Adalia" she replied.
"Pretty name." Adalia allowed the compliment from Kieran to form a small smile on her face.
Kieran smiled back, winked and then turned and walked away.Hi everyone, I will be trying to upload a chapter everyday. I hope you enjoyed the first chapter, please vote and comment. Thankyou X
