Nyx's Point Of View:(The Cleansing Ritual)

It was ten o'clock at night, the moon held her powerful sway and I decided to get ready for the ritual. I had already taken bath. We have been practicing for this ritual. Ava, Damien, Erin, Lilith .Air, water, fire,earth and spirit all united as one.

I sat on my vanity table as Sophia curled my raven hair which grew more and ended up to my waist. She was done with that, while she worked on my make-up. I had already painted my nails silver with sequins in it and I looked gorgeous. I added my burgundy wine lipstick.

"Alright now the dress!" Sophia says and handing me a box which said New Look, and there were some gorgeous black platform caged sandals. "Wow Sophia! This is gorgeous!" I say with a smile. She hands me box as well. I open it and see black earrings and note.

A black card with writing on it in silver Sharpie:

Priestess Nyx Ryan-Ashley sent these earrings for you to wear at the ritual. She'll be there to meet you!

Balz

I got dressed:

My black Stella McCartney dress hugged me in the right places, there was a sweetheart plunging neckline. I put in the earrings and looked in the full length mirror. Sophia was dressed in a beautiful burgundy lace dress, "Alright the warriors are waiting downstairs." Sophia says and I nod.

I take a deep breath and follow her down the spiral stair case, as my heels clicked against the floor. I hadn't seen Ryan for two days and I missed him truthfully.
Delirium by Lacuna Coil was playing in the grand hall. Balz, Chris and Ricky were waiting to walk me, as Sophia and Ricky held their hands. "Merry meet priestess!" Everyone greets while crossing their fists over their heart and I do the same.

Many people were gathered in the hall, after this ritual we would usually eat and talk and depart until next time. I walked into the grand hall, the decorations were black and red, people were there. "Merry meet priestess!" Everyone exclaims as they cross their fists over their heart. I return the gesture. The song was ending, as the mood was set.

Damien, Ava, Erin and Jasmine were stood in a circle. My father walked in with Ryan, Vinny and Ghost. I caught Ryan's eye, he stares at me. While I sneakily wink at him and walk toward my ceremonial platter, as I place my purple candle in the center. Damien held his yellow candle, Ava held her red candle, Erin held her blue candle and Jasmine held her green candle. As chattering continued, my father silenced the crowd and music stopped playing. So I could talk, as I saw Ryan rush over to me with the ceremonial lighter, and our hands brushed.

He leans in close to me, "Meet me on the beach tonight!" His deep voice says. I look into his greenish brown eyes and I nod discreetly, as his plump lips curl up into a smirk. As he stands next to Ricky.

"Merry meet everyone!" I say with projection in my voice. As everyone else repeated. "Today is our cleansing ritual, one of the most important days. The day we honor the dead and loss of one our important members! We celebrate love, life and unity. And wish well upon the ones who went to the afterlife!" I say. As the lights dimmed, I take a deep breath. The hall was silent, you could hear a pin drop.

I walk toward Damien and mouth, "You ready?" He nods. "First element, Air come to me, give us a soft breeze to cleanse the air around, and make our souls clear." I say, while I touch the candle as the element whooshes around blowing my long hair around me. As Damien let out a little laugh. I smile and walk toward Erin, "Water come to me, purify the souls of the deceased and like the tidal waves, let them find clarity in life!" I say, as I place the lighter on her candle it explodes, fresh sea breeze fill my nostrils.

As water crashed against my heels making me smile and move onto Jasmine. "Earth come to me, I call upon this element to bless the circle and deceased around us and purify our minds." I say, as the wick of the candle lit up magically. Then finally Ava, "Fire, come to me! I call upon this element to burn out the evil and darkness in our hearts and unify us. Also give light to the deceased!" I say.

The lighter touched the wick, as sweet scent of burning came to me. Finally my element, spirit. I summoned spirit, my whole heart was soaring. I saw Ryan gasp as well, he must feel it. We imprinted on each other.

"Our spirits and minds are cleansed, and the filth of what we are is gone, this night may we unify as dark daughters and sons. From this night on, we are all powerful and unified as one!" I yell. "Blessed be!" I yell, as everyone yells back. The whole circle was glowing silver.

"Air, water, earth, fire and spirit you may depart!" I say, as the elements had departed from our circle. My father spoke up, "Alright everyone let's dine!" My father says. As Warrior Motionless, Balz, Ghost and Vinny left. I walk over to my ceremonial platter, as each member of the circle placed their candles down and bid me a goodbye.

I walk over toward the shrine of Alya and Kalona while placing them down, I lit them. I walk toward the banquet hall, head inside. I saw Ryan flirting with a girl, as she smiled from ear to ear. Knowing I couldn't have was tearing me apart. He was dressed in a suit and he looked handsome, his hair was slicked back.

Ryan stared at me while holding the girl close to him, I couldn't bear it. I storm out of the banquet hall, while my heels clicked against the floor, as my dress trailed around me. Sophia was busy with Ricky. I push open the golden French doors while lead to the beach. I sat down on the marble steps and tear off my heels and walk toward the ocean.

The waves crashed against the shoreline, the fresh breeze blowing my hair around me. The moon held her sway. I close my eyes and drift into another world for a while. Until I felt arms wrap around me from behind, "Ryan!" I gasp, as his lips were against my neck, sucking my sensitive skin making me moan.

His teeth grazing my flesh, making me moan. "Oh God!" I gasp while tilting my head back. "I want you Nyx!" He whimpers, he spun me around.
