Ratchets Little Femme

Chapter 4

No one POV

Nightingale walked inside and looked around. No one was inside the base so she decided to look around. Arcee was following her closely. She stopped suddenly. Arcee bumped into her.
"Oh, I'm sorry ma'am!" She said when she looked at arcee.
"What are you doing?" Arcee asked her.
"I'm looking around. Is that alright?" Nightingale asked sincerely.
"I don't know. Are you going to betray us?" She asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Ratchet doesn't have a daughter. He has never had sparklings."
"Do you not trust me ma'am?"
"No. I don't." Arcee said bluntly. "So you better watch yourself." Arcee turned and left nightingale to her thoughts. Nightingale bit her lip and kept walking slowly. She felt someone behind her and jumped at the sound of optimus's voice.
"Hello Nightingale."
"Si- optimus!" She had to correct herself again. She blushed as she looked up at him. He chuckled lightly.
"Why are you walking alone?"
"Just thinking." She said softly as she smiled. He nodded and turned. She watched him and admired him with soft eyes. She turned smiling with her head down as she walked to her oppi's berthroom. She layed down on his berth and stared at the ceiling. She vented deeply and closed her eyes.
Optimus was walking around slowly, lost in his thoughts. Arcee called his name and pulled him out of them.
"What is it arcee?"
"Can we trust nightingale?" Arcee asked him. "I mean, ratchet never had sparklings."
"I see your concern but she can be trusted and she is indeed his daughter." Optimus reassured her. Arcee nodded and left optimus to his thoughts once more, most of which involved said femme. He passed by ratchet's berthroom when he heard crying. He opened the door to see nightingale in recharge, tossing and turning. She was crying and begging for it to stop. Optimus came up to her and tried to wake her up. Ratchet came in and gently pushed him aside. He held her and rocked her, saying soothing things in her audio processor.
