Emerald's POV
I stare at Anti's blue and green eyes in shock and horror. He leaps towards the book and grabs it off me.
"All will be revealed." He says sinisterly. He opens the book and has a confused look on his face.
"Why are you trying to hide a joke book?" He asks. I smile at him.
"We were going to prank you and Dark and Glitch and I wanted to keep it a secret." I reply. He gives the book back to me and storms out of the door.
Suddenly Glitch appears out of nowhere and yells,
"ANTI I SWEAR IF YOU HURT EMERALD I WILL TEAR Y-" I just stare at him trying not to laugh. He realises he is too late and turns his angry face into a 'I am stupid aren't I?' look.
"Where were you?! I've been searching the whole house! Where's the book?" Glitch asks. I explain to Glitch what happened and how I used a disguise spell to switch the real book with a fake.
I finished explaining and he says,
"You are one of the smartest people I know." I blush at his complement.
"Anyway, lets go and find this book."

Ash's POV
I'm looking for Glitch and Emerald. I have already got Light's help for telling the others I was "sleeping in". I need to tell them what's wrong with Dark and Anti. I knock on Glitch's door; no answer. They are in there. I knock again,
"Open up, it's important." I say firmly. The red and blue door slowly opens. I walk inside the room, the wires hanging everywhere and the virtual reality theme feels very familiar. I see Emerald and Glitch reading a book on a desk. The same book from the Book Chase fiasco yesterday.
"What is it Ash?" Glitch asks curiously. I sigh.
"I know what's wrong with Dark and Anti and I want to know what you know." I say bluntly. They stare at me in shock. Emerald jumps up from the hovering chair and looks at me dead in the eye.
"We found out that they have been cursed, but we don't know what curse." Emerald explains. Glitch nods. I take out a grey jewel from my pocket.
I sigh and knock on Dark's door.
"Come in." I hear from the other side. I open the jet black to find Dark sitting on his bed....... Twirling a knife in his hand.
"Why are you acting like this?" I ask wanting to jump in the conversation fast. He gets up and gives me a stare that probably broke Light's spell.
"Why do you care?" He asks. "This is the way I am now." I look at him horrified, why is he acting like this.
"Emerald and Glitch are on your tail... But I've already figured it out." I say holding a grey jewel. I chant some words that I have memorised. Dark starts to hold his head.
"What are you doing?!" He yells. It was working, a dark pink and red mist started to come out of his eyes, pouring into the dull, grey gem. Only, it was turning into blood red. Finally, the most stopped coming out of his eyes and Dark fell on the ground.
"Dark?" I ask slowly moving towards him. He wakes up dazed and confused.
"What happened? Wait, where's Anti? I need to see Anti!" Dark asks in panic. OH THANK GOODNESS I THOUGHT I KILLED HIM.
"Someone cursed you and I was able to find an antidote. Only a person with Angon energy (half demon and angel) within them could find the empty gem, using can be anyone so......" we both hear a scream.
"Anti has just gone through the same thing." Dark and I run to Anti's room finding him getting up off the floor.
"I see Dark is back to normal." Glitch mentions. Dark smiles and runs over to help Anti up.
"So who cursed these two nincompoops?" I ask. Dark and Anti look at each other with worry. Anti started to explain,
"Well. It started the night Ash snuck out for a midnight flight." Light gives me a death stare and yells,
"ASH DID WHAT?!"
"NOT IMPORTANT NOW PLEASE CONTINUE ANTI." I say in panic. Anti chuckles a bit and continues,
"You thought I teleported away when really, someone teleported me. Someone captured me and put that curse on me. They said to go and get Dark which I did and he got cursed too."
"We remember everything." Dark adds.
Suddenly, Light bursts into the room and suddenly says,
"Sendal Woods. Now. He and another companion is trying to sneak across to the Earth dimension." The others teleport away and Light and I start to fly.
"Who are we actually finding?" I asked out of confusion.
"Someone I thought who gave up long ago."
