Chapter Nine - Memories That Shouldn't Exist

Hey guys! Guess what? I wrote my first one shot!!!!!!!!!! And my first original!!!!!! I wrote an original one-shot called "Humming a Beautiful Melody". So if you want to check it out feel free cause I want to see how I went so ya :3

Light's POV
I finally found Wilford but Ash is nowhere to be seen. Maybe she's hurt? Wilford is fighting me and winning. As me and my justice are thrown to the ground I groan in pain, but not in fear. Wilford stares at me victorious while he shoots me a devious smile.
"You were always weak." Wilford says twirling the knife with satisfaction. "The weak must be gone." Wilford raises his knife. I watch the sharp blade come crashing down near my heart until I see Wilford drop the knife and tumble to the ground.

I see Emerald, Glitch, Anti, Dark and Ash in the background. Ash has her hand lit up in a purple flame. It is obvious she shot Wilford with her weird and dangerous power.
"That's what you get for trying to kill me jerk!" Ash yells as she gets rid of the flame on her hand.

Anti, Dark and Ash run up to me, Glitch and Emerald staying behind. Is Emerald hurt?
" I'm fine I'm fine." I say getting up. Ash looks at Wilford on the ground and stares at him in shock.
"Um, earth to Ash? What's wrong?" I ask.
"I forgot about someone." Ash says as still as a statue. Ash spreads out her large wings and flies up in the air.

Ash's POV
I fly up high and take a look to my surroundings. The elegant, fluffy clouds move in the blue sky. I feel someone pinning me towards the ground.
"There you are." I say looking into Jet's navy blue eyes. I try to fight his push against me but I am too late. I feel the ground pound against my chest as I pushed towards the grassy, rocky earth. I hear my heart pounding in my chest as the world turns into an inky darkness.

I wake up from the heat surrounding me. The flames are dancing around me with anger and fury. I see a little girl crying and curled up in a little ball.
"Hey? You ok?" I ask. She doesn't respond. I try to reach out to her, but my surroundings turn to dust. Or should I say, ash. The area I'm in is dark and pitch black.
"Hello? Where am I? Dark? Light? Anybody?" I call.
"Ash. Ash." A voice chants. "Ash." It keeps on going. My own name pounding in my skull.
"Stop!" I yell.

Glitch's POV
"ASH! ASH!" Dark yells.
"I don't think screaming at her will help." Light says calmly.
"SHE COULD BE DYING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! ASH!"
I sigh out of the panic of my cousin. After the incident with Wilford and whoever that other guy is, we all quickly teleported back to Raspy Hill with me teleporting Light and Anti teleporting Ash.
"She's gonna be fine. She has got the strength of a demon and angel." I say so Dark can shut up.

I also say that to calm myself down, I'm actually really worried if she is gonna wake up or not.
"SHUT UP!" I hear. I turn around and see the violet eyes open.
"YOU'RE OK! OH THANK GOODNESS!!" Dark screams hugging Ash. Actually, replace hugging with strangling.
"Good..To.....See....You.......Too......." Ash manages to say.
"Maybe you should let her go." I say in worry that Ash might almost DIE AGAIN.
"Hey Staticboy, shut up or your next." Dark says with a smile on his face still strangling Ash.

Dark finally lets go of Ash.
"I HAD A MEMORY." Ash bursts out. Light's eyes grew wide.
"WHAT?! HOW?! You have memory loss! Only someone you knew before you met us would've revived a memory!" Light explains, examining.
"Who cares? Ashy-woo is back!" Anti yells and starts to 'hug' Ash who is losing a lot of air.

Now I see why Dark and Anti get along so well.
"Let.......Go..........Please." Ash manages to say. Anti let's go with an evil but apologetic look on his face.
"Hey Dark, Anti. I need to tell you something." Dark and Anti lean into Ash, waiting for her to whisper something in there ears.......... Instead she slaps them in the face.
"That's what you get for strangling me jerks." Ash mumbles. "Anyway......" Ash explains everything she saw when she was out.

When she was finished I said,
"Well for starters, the person chanting your name isn't a mystery." I say looking at Dark. He gives me an angelic grin.
"I wonder what that other guy was doing with Wilford? Whoever he is, he is a tough challenge." Emerald explains. Ash sighs again.
"Well I like challenges."
