When my eyes jave finally done their scan I begin to turn back to face Kyle and follow out on the order whenn something catches my eye. Ignoring the sounds around me, my eyes zero in on what appears to be moving rumble.

My feet begin moving without my consent towards to huge heap of broken concrete. When I arrive the seen all the movement beneath the rubble stops.

Something grabs my heart when I notice that and I quickly put my arms to work, lifting the chunks of concrete up and tosing them to the side.

After three minutes of moving around the dust and rubble i come across a sight that has me a lost for words.

Looking down infront of me lays a dog, not a small puppy, but what appears to be a fully grown chocolate Labrador. The dog is wearing a light blue colour and has a very shiny coat, but it wasn't the dog that shocked me, it was the little boy that it was beginging to stand over, almost as a mother would protect her young.

Looking at the child I noticed on how he was breathing, the way his little chest would rise and fall, pausing briefly before rising again. I could imediatly tell that he was sleeping but was breathing in the dust that lay next to him. Surveying him he appeared to be between the ages of five or six. How could such small beings survive under there for what must of been at least twenty two hours is baffling to me. Other then breathing in the dust, both seemed to be unharmed.
