In this tutorial, I'm gonna show you the easiest way because one step at a time is always better. And also because I may or may not be lazy af...

Anyways, load a plain white or plain black image with the correct dimensions (512x800) in Phonto. I personally prefer a white background, but you might like a black background better. It really just depends on who the graphic designer is.

Note:If your image is white, apply the text in black! If your image is black, apply the text in white! Because if you don't opposite the colors, this little trick won't work!

Press the "Add Photo" tab and load the image/texture you'd like to apply to your text! If your background is white, like mine, I would suggest not using a recource with a lot of white or bright colors in it! The same thing applies if your image is black and you think about using dark colors! It would kind of make the text blend in with the background and therefore causing your cover to look like utter crap.

Trust me, man, I've done it.

Now, when you have your photograph/texture picked out, enlarge it to your liking and tap the "Screen" option. This should make it appear transparent against the white and visible on your letters!

However, if your background is black, you should choose the "Multiply" option. The same effect should follow - transparent against the black and visible against the white text!
