Amethyst's Corruption

Chapter 3

Steven's POV

I went down the tunnel worrying about amethyst she was acting weird this morning I wonder if she's ok I pulled my phone out and checked the time I was supposed to meet back with the others in 10 minutes I continued walking until I hit a dead end that's when I turned around to meet the gems garnet and pearl were already there "Hey guys any luck?" I told them as I approached them "Nothing but a dead end"Garnet said Pearl nodded we waited on amethyst for 30 minutes then Garnet decided we should look for her we were walking for a while then we saw the corrupted gem it looked like the one jasper fused with "Alright gems huddle up" Garnet said Pearl charged towards the corrupted gem with her trident and Garnet joined in they poofed the gem easily Garnet bubbled it "Alright let's go.'' "Wait Garnet what about amethyst." Suddenly we heard a loud growl and a crash "it came from that hole." Garnet said walking over to a huge hole in the ground "It seems like there's another one here garnet what do we do?" Garnet stared down the hole "Hmm let's go." She said jumping into the hole "Well let's go."I said jumping down using my flying powers pearl said something but I didn't hear it when I came down garnet looked petrified "Garnet what's wrong?" Pearl landed next to Garnet "Garnet?" She said then turned to what garnet was facing and gasped I looked too and saw a purple corrupted gem that looked similar to the other one and jasper and the other one but it was smaller it's hair was the same color as amethyst's wait no that that couldn't be amethyst I hugged Garnet "Garnet" I said my voice breaking "is that amethyst?" Tears streaming down my face Garnet held me "Pearl you know what to do."she said crying pearl summoned her trident "aye aye garnet."she said tears whelling up in her eyes Amethyst's corrupted form made a confused noise pearl charged "PEARL NO" I said crying trying to push myself away from Garnet "Steven don't look." Garnet said holding me closer "Please garnet this is wrong it's amethyst!" She nodded and held me tighter pearl readied her weapon "PEARL PLEASE NO!" I said crying she shifted tears streaming down her face "PEARL PLEASE!" I begged pearl started to shake "PEARL NOW!!''Garnet screamed pearl was shaking while she was crying I continued trying to push myself away from Garnet trying to save amethyst or what was left from her I finally pushed myself away from Garnet and ran in front of amethyst "I won't let you hurt her she's not trying to hurt us she's not to far gone!" More and more tears started to fall Garnet stood up "Steven you can't uncorrupt her!" "I know but she's not that big we could keep her kinda like a pet you'd never know the difference!" Pearl's trident vanished and she barried her face into garnet "Garnet what do we do." She loudly whispered Garnet sighed "Fine." She said wiping her eyes "but keep a close on her now let's go." She said walking away I smiled while crying I whipped my eyes "Alright amethyst" I said turning around "let's go home." I said putting my hand on her head I grabbed her hand/paw and used my powers to lift us up we walked back to the warped I looked at her and smiled she kinda seemed like a puppy she was going to be a big responsibility but I'll take care of her then Garnet with Pearl still clinging to her warped us home
