I awoke to the noise of water dripping on to the gutter.

"Rain" I thought to myself. As I felt a wave of heat hit my face making my cheeks turn a rosie pink.

"Ekkkk... ekk..ekk" the slow wooded colored fan on the roof turned.

I awoke being covered with a thick royal blue duvet cover and rock band posters on the gray walls. I rapidly remember where I am and sat up as if I was a young child waking up from a nightmare.

I see my familiar Pokémon phone case on his the dark wooden nightstand. I pick up my phone to see the time. 12:54Am. Slowly the thoughts of a few hours ago come back to me.

*2 HRS (or so) BEFORE*

"Hey do you wanna watch a movie maybe by the time it's over the rain might have stopped and I can take you home." Luke asks as I scroll through Instagram seeing that a few of my favorite band accounts had posted.

"Sure. What movie?" I ask as he gets up and pulls his chair back into the table.

"Whatever you want." He smiles and helps me pick up the table that had a few different color M&M's scattered on it from throwing them at each other earlier.

We put our math text books and note books away almost both of us in sync. We take the empty bowls and cups to the kitchen of course he's in front of me because I have no idea where we're heading. When I walk into the kitchen I see a tall white fridge, the walls painted an earthy blue which wasn't too dark but not to light. There was also a small vintage white oven and microwave. The microwave was just plain white with black numbers and settings. While the oven looked like a taller microwave with larger buttons, they both said the time in a soft neon green light. I help him place the dishes in the non- reflective sliver sink.

Once he finished doing the dishes -which I insisted I did but he didn't let me because I was his 'guest'- he led me to the living room. The living room was small and cozy. The walls were painted a very light brown and there was a huge canvas painting painted in most blues, dark and light, of a man who seemed to live in a forest, looking at the full moon and next to him sat a large white dog and to the far right of the painting you can see his small little wooden cabin and in the bottom right hand corner it was signed by the artist in gold "B.H". Under the painting sat a small almost black couch, which looked like they could have gotten a newer one a few years back because this one looked like it was about to give out any day now. In the far left of the room sat a small dog bed and right next to it a 2 bowls that both read "Molly".

"You have a dog?" I asked trying to hide the fact I was dazed out looking at all the details of his house.

"Yup, My little oldie Molly, she's the sweetest thing in the world. You want to see her??" He asked while offering me to sit on the couch with his hand.

I sat down and said "Not if you don't want to. I mean it doesn't have to be right now.

"Its fine I'm going to my bed room to go get my math books. She's always sleeping in in there anyways." He chuckled

I feel my phone vibrating in my back pocket.
