I had the worst feeling in my gut, and so many un-answered questions.
Had Joe already watched my video?
Is Joe Sugg stalking me?
Why would he text me?
Does he like me?
Should I tell Zoe?
Does he hate me for saying I like him?
Is he being abducted by aliens and I'm his last hope?
And lastly;
Should I read the text?
I shut off my phone straight away. If it had anything to do with the video, I didn't want to know. I will be spending time with an amazing person in a few minutes, and I didn't want to have to worry about another relationship at the moment. I'm good at procrastinating, and I'm already worrying about what I should eat, and if my breath is unpleasant. I rushed to the washroom with my toothbrush for the second time at Zoe's, once she got out.
~Phils P.O.V~
Once I got back from the store, I noticed Dan getting ready to leave. He wasn't just ready to leave, he was dressed up. "What's going on Dan?" I asked, genuinely curious. "I'm going on a date with Y/N!" He replied, cheerfully. His face was lit up. Of course I was happy for him, but my feelings are just getting the best of me. "Well thanks for notifying me Daniel, what a great fucking friend." I stomped off, leaving him speechless. I might have said it a bit harsh, but Dan knows I have a little thing for Y/N, and he's just making me feel like crap for the last few days. He's showing her off like a trophy, and he got 1st place, while I'm in second.
I heard Dan slam the door shut, and I drifted off into a nap.
~Your P.O.V~
Hearing a knock at the door (which Zoe and I had been silently waiting for) we got up, but Zoe held me back for a few seconds. "Y/n, don't you know anything? If you rush to the door a second after he arrives, you'll seem too desperate and clingy." She pushed me back to her room and opened the door herself.
I then heard her say, "Hey Dan! Y/N should be ready, I believe she is just tidying up right now... I'll go grab her!" That was a complete lie, considering I finished "tidying up" way before Dan had arrived. She pretended to go and grab me, and we walked over to the door together.
I noticed that Dan's face turned a bit Pale when he saw me. He seemed shocked.
"Wow Y/N, you look..." He searched through his vocabulary and "stunning" dripped out of his mouth. He blushed a bit while saying that as well, which made my stomach flutter.
Zoe shook her head and smiled proudly. "Of course she does! You two lovebirds better leave now! Enjoy dinner, and be good to her, Howell." Zoe shooed us off. Something about calling us "lovebirds" made my stomach tingle, but in a good way.
We walked out and over to the car together. Dan opened the car door for me, which made me blush. I don't know if I've ever blushed this much, it's insane what a guy can do to you.
We talked a lot during the car ride there. We took cute, couple-worthy selfies and I posted them on snapchat, which were soon leaked on Twitter and Instagram. I didn't care much. We technically were not together, and I obviously didn't care if people thought we were. It made me obtain a bit of hope. This was just yet again another friendly gesture. I'm not confident enough.
Could Dan actually like me?
Ugh.
More questions that just nipped at my anxiety.
