Amanda took her seat in the fancy restaurant by Bruce Wayne. She had only one intention when she walked into the restaurant and that was to launch project Task Force X and she did not intend on leaving until she got what she wanted.
"We lose a national hero but you sit there looking like the cat that ate the canary"
"I've eaten a lot of canaries" replied Amanda before getting back to the matter at hand. "It's taken some work but i finally have them, the worst of the worst" she explained proudly before taking out her binder with the details.
"There's rumors Amanda that some of them have abilities" Bruce explained.
"The rumors are right. You know what the problem with a Metahuman is? the human part. We got lucky with Superman he shared our values. The next superman might not." Amanda continued as she took a bite from her medium rare steak
"Your playing with fire Amanda"
"I'm fighting fire with fire" she corrected taking a sip from her drink.
"You're not going to pitch us that Task Force X project of yours again, are you" Bruce chuckled
"Yes" she replied with not a second to spare. "But this time you're gonna listen" she assured. before flipping to the first page of her binder.

"Arya June Blue, AKA ICE" Amanda pointed at Arya's picture as she handed the binder to Bruce. "She is known as the girl who came back. One winter day she fell into a frozen over river, when the police retrieved her body she was pronounced dead but as some people like to say god granted her a miracle and brought her back to life but if you ask me the devil brought her back to do his bidding. She possesses powers unlike anyone I've ever seen she has heaps of cold energy at her fingertips and can create ice with just the flick of her wrist. She was normal as a girl her age with that much power could be but after a specific life changing event something snapped inside her. She became aggressive and killed hundreds, some people even say she could give the joker a run for his money"
"Freak of nature i see. But what could possibly make her kill that many people?" Bruce added in. Amanda smiled, amused a bit
"isn't it obvious. What drives us to do things we don't usually do? LOVE" Amanda explained "Ice had a great almost 5 year relationship with her soon to be husband Zack Michael Smith a police officer who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got shot by one of the biggest gang leaders in Gotham city. Ever since that day i don't think anything ever gets registered correctly in that girls brain. Anyway she seeked vengeance and killed the gang members but she didn't feel any better so she continued to kill and steal and go against authority all the while growing even more colder and angrier than she already is trying to fill that empty hole in her chest. Thankfully Batman found her in what you might call her "CASTLE" which was just an old mansion which she froze over completely. Batman brought her in alive and ever since then she has been with us."
"Geez what makes you think you can control her?"
"Everyone has a weakness and a weakness can be leveraged"
"It says here that her weakness is fire. so what you're going to threaten her?" Bruce asked pointing to the file. Amanda stifled a laugh
"No. Ice is not afraid of anything. But her real weakness is her little sister, and i plan to do everything i can to make Ice cooperate"
"What do you mean by everything?" Bruce asked wary
Amanda took another sip from her drink before speaking up "I mean everything" she repeated.
