Chapter 6

Awkward silence filled the room as Dan and Phil stared at each other, faces bright red, not knowing what to say or do. "So uh...do you want to...be my boyfriend now?" Phil broke the silence. "Uh...sure I guess" Dan said. "Oh wait I have a present for you" Dan smiled and ran to his room. "A present? We only just started dating" Phil thought to himself. Dan came back with the box full of notes from 2012 and he had added more notes to it. "Here...I was going to give this to you a long time ago but we had an argument and I got scared" Dan said and handed the box to Phil. Phil smiled and opened it. He took the time to read each and every card. He looked up at Dan "this is amazing I love you so much" Phil said. "I love you too" Dan said going in for a hug. Phil hugged him and as he pulled away he grabbed Dan's face and looked into his eyes. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me" Phil whispered. He then pulled Dan's face closer and kissed him. The kiss was long a passionate. It was everything they both had dreamed about for so long. After the kiss Dan looked at Phil "did that really just happen?" Dan was so happy he was sure this was a dream. "Yes would you like me to do it again for proof?" Phil smiled even more. "Yes please" Dan said quietly. Phil pulled him closer and kissed him again. Neither thought being this happy was even possible until now. They both knew this was a new beginning for them.
