I'm carrying Semoria till my phone rang. I pressed ignore without looking at the caller id. I just want to focus on the twins. It started ringing again. What if it's urgent? "I've gotta take this." I handed Semoria to Menika.
It was Jacob. I picked up the call. "Hello." I said. "Trev got into an accident." Jacob mentioned. "How?" I asked. "He got into a car crash. We were at a bar. He drank about six beers, me and Diggy shouldn't have let him drink that much. He said he wasn't drunk and that he was ok to drive by himself back to our crib since we all meet up at the bar so we drove in our separate cars. I was driving behind him and he passed a red light."
Nooooo. This is all a dream. "Pinch me." Menika gave me a weird look but she did it anyway. I'm not dreaming. This is a lot to take in. "Are you there?" Jacob asked. "What did the doctor say?" I inquired.
"The doctor hasn't said anything yet." I hope he's going to be ok. "I will see if I can fly there soon." I dropped the call. "What's wrong?" Menika asked. "Trev got in a car accident." Trev's mom started pacing. "How?" Menika asked. "He was drinking to much and he passed the red light." I said not getting into too much details.
"I completely forgot I have to pick Drey up at the airport." I remembered. "You're not going anywhere. Hand me your keys." Menika ordered. "The're on the kitchen counter."
Jacob,
"Family of Trev Jackson." Me and Diggy stood up. "Trevor is in a coma. His brain is swelled up which means that he hit his head pretty badly." Fuck. I should've never let him drive. He could be stubborn sometimes. "Can we see him?" Diggy asked. "Right this way."
We entered his room. He looked fucked up. He was pale. He had two stitches on his head.
