NIERA'S POV
One word...
Absurdity!
That's what happening here right now. Several questions doing salsa in my mind, my head is spinning like clothes in washing machine and the people in front of me are standing like statues in Madame Tussauds.
My gaze is drifting between Jerry and Dr. Baron like a pendulum. But the two are frozen at their spot.
I had no other option but to wait for their frozen wax form to melt and react.
Moments later, Dr. Baron came out of his Museum statue trance and looked at me. Smiling he gave me a charming look which deepen the frown on my face and scowl on Jerry's.
"Well my work is done for now. I'll see you soon and remember if you encounter any problem or uneasiness. Just let Jerry know, he'll call me. Okay." He said in his professional tone gracing me with his charming smile.
Saying this, he stood up and left the room without taking his bag.
Turning around, the same statue of my friend greeted me whose eyes were fixed on the closed door.
"Well?" I prompted with the same scowl which was fixed on his face moments ago.
Jerry turned his face to look at me; his expressionless statue face broke into a nervous laugh which increased my frustration level to another level.
Before I could ask more, he interrupted me, "You must be hungry. I'll just go get you something to eat. Quick and healthy." He rushed his words like a speedy drive.
Saying this he too left the room like he is getting late to board a flight.
Flight!
The word strikes something in my slow mind.
Mr. Gorgeous Saviour and Mr. Gerard must have landed by now.
I hope they had a safe journey.
Well, first of all he is Mr. Valentine and when did you became so much concerned about anyone Miss. Dodo? My subconscious asked raising its inquiring brow.
Shutting back my sub consciousness in the corner of my mind, I glanced back to the beautiful view of the sunset casting from the window, which was a live canvas of Mother Nature crafting different colors to perfection with every moment.
The sun was now eloping in the embrace of earth completely leaving its rays behind which are providing light in the sky which soon will vanish once the night appears.
