"Stop crying, baby.. It's just some water" Ashton softly says to your daughter.
"But it's scary, Ashtooon" your three year old daughter mumbles. Since it's your week with your daughter now, and your boyfriend is home, you and Ash decided to bring her to the beach. She adores Ash, so when you told her the same morning, she got really excited. You're looking with a smile towards Ashton who's holding little Emily in his arms.
"Don't be scared, Emily! Me and mommy is here to keep you safe" Ashton says as he wipes her salt tears away.
"Do you promise?" She asks while looking up at Ash. He nods with a smile.
"Pinky promise!" He says, causing her to giggle.
"Mommy! You need to come with us!" Emily shouts as she keeps her arms around Ashton's neck, refusing to let go. You smile before walking after your tall boyfriend who's already in the water with Emily. She's wearing arm puffs around her small arms, witch calms you down. You hurry up until you are beside Ashton. The water only reaches to your knees, but Emily refuses to let go of Ash.
"I don't want toooo!" She cries.
"Awh c'mon, Em! We've trained the whole summer, don't you wanna show Ashton how good you are at swimming?" You say while laying an arm around Ashton's waist. She stares at you with big, brown eyes before she nods.
"Do you wanna se me swim, Ashton?" She carefully asks Ashton.
"Of course I want too, Em!" Ashton smiles as he slowly sits down in the water. Emily's lips starts to shake and you can tell that she's gonna start crying again.
"You know what, Em?" Ashton says. Emily looks up at him and shakes her head.
"I've heard that there's this place where you can buy LOTS of ice cream, but you can't buy if you haven't been in the water" he says, and Emily's eyes grows big.
"So if you can show me and mummy that you can swim I promise that I'll take you and buy ice cream!" He says and Emily starts giggle.
"Is there strawberry ice cream there?" She asks and ash nods.
"I promise" he smiles. He gives her cheek a kiss before she climbs down. The water reaches her belly button, and her scared eyes turns to me.
"C'mon baby, show Ashton how good you are!" You smile. She slowly nods before laying down and starts splashing around. Ashton stands up and puts his arm around your waist.
"Wow, you're so good at that, Em!" Ashton says while clapping his hands.
"You're so good with her, babe" you say while looking up at your boyfriend.
"Yeah?" Ashton smiles. You kiss his dimple.
"She adores you" you say while looking over at your now laughing little daughter.
"She's great, Amalie" Ashton mumbles. You smile again. After you've bought ice cream, Emily have fell asleep in Ashton's arms.
"Yeah, it's late.. Maybe we should go home?" You mumble. Ashton nods.
"And again, thank you for being so patient and sweet with her! It means a lot" you say when the three of you are walking towards the car. Emily is still sleeping in Ashton's arms, her brown curls on his shoulders.
"I love you, Amalie" Ashton mumbles while stopping you.
"I love you to babe" you smile before Ashton reaches down to kiss you.
