His perspective ~

I push the door open, rushing through the crowded halls. I don't care about the dirty looks I get from most people, I just need to get to her.

I got a call two hours ago from her mom, she cried through the phone, trying to tell me that y/n was in a car accident.

I wasn't even in Sydney, no, I was two hours away, on my way to help my brother, Jack, with his move. He's moving to get closer to his new job. I talked to y/n this morning. She was happy, laughing. She told me that she and Charlie would spend the day with the boys.

My heart beat fast, all I know is that she's in the hospital. I don't know if she's stable, or unconscious. I don't know if she has a broken leg, or maybe just a bruise. All I know is that the girl I love is in the hospital.

I turn, pushing my way to get forward. There, the boys along with her mom and Charlie is there. Some of them sitting down, some standing up. I can see that Charlie's big blue eyes are filled with tears from far away. As soon as she sees me, she points, trying to climb down.

I hurry my steps, catching the crying girl in my arms. "Schh, honey, it's okay. Daddy is here now"

She press her little face against my neck, letting out a small sob. I look at y/n's mom, ignoring the boys.

"Where is she?"

No one will answer me, making me even more worried. I glance down at my daughter in my arms. She's four, she can impossible know why she's crying, or where her mommy is,

"Where. Is. She?" I demand an answer through gritted teeth,

"She's in surgery right no-"

"Surgery?" I interrupt her mom, swallowing hard. "No.. Why is she in surgery?"

"I'm sorry, Luke.. But he didn't see us" ash looks at me. He has a big and bright red bruise on his forehead.

My arms tightens around Charlie, who's starting to calm down. "W-what?"

"The other car just appeared, he didn't see us until we crashed" He travels off, dragging a hand through his curls.

I look down at Charlie. "Is.. Uhm, is she hurt as well?"

"She was in another car with Michael"

I stumble backwards, bumping down at a chair. Charlie looks up at me, and her little hand is soon placed on my cheek. "Why are you crying, daddy?"

I quickly wipe them away. "Dad's just a bit worried about mummy, but don't worry, Charles"

Charles is Charlie's nickname, a nickname y/n came up with a few years ago. We thought Charlie would be a boy first, so y/n suggested Charles as name. Then we had a girl, and I came up with Charlie, since it's so alike. Charles simply become a nickname.

"Why isn't mommy with us?"

"Don't worry, honey, she's with the nice doctors right now. They're taking care of her, making her look nice before she can come out and meet us"

"Why wouldn't she answer me before?" Charlie's eyes are huge, not understanding why mummy can't be with the rest of the family. "And why was her face all red?"

I'm about to answer when Calum steals her from me. "C'mon, Charles, let's go and buy ice cream"

I'm thankful that he took her, I love Charlie with all my heart, but I can't focus on sounding happy around her all the time when... When y/n is in surgery.

"Her face was all.. Red?" I stare at the floor, can't believing this is happening.

"It was blood everywhere, Luke" Ashton mumbles. "We don't know where she's hurt yet"
