May 19th -
After going back to my apartment and packing a suitcase full of what I thought was essentials, I grabbed my laptop and booked the cheapest one way flight to Australia I could find. When I said I needed to get away, I meant other side of the world away. I thought that was the end of my long chain of heart breaks! Out of all the idiots I've dated, I never thought Noah would do something like that to me! I really thought he was different but I guess he was just the same as all the others!
I finally arrived to the airport and found out that my flight had been delayed by 4 hours. Great, just what I needed! I thought I would buy a book and get some food to pass the time. I headed through the airport to find the nearest book shop with my Starbucks in my hand, typical white girl I know. Finally I found a WHSmiths, I picked my book (All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven), as I turned around to take it to the till I bumped into someone and dropped my coffee all over the floor. "Oh shit I'm so sorry!" I said as I bent down to pick up the cup off of the floor. "Oh it's fine don't worry about, here you can use these." I looked up to take the napkins out of the boys hand and froze. Oh. My. God. HE WAS GORGEOUS! He had perfect cheekbones and I swear if I had touched his jaw line it would have cut me. He had ruffled, dark brown hair and piercing bluey grey eyes. Basically the definition of perfection! "Um are you okay?" The beautiful specimen asked me, he could obviously tell I was stunned by something, he probably didn't think it would be his looks though. "Oh um yeah I'm good, thanks! I'm so so sorry I didn't see you!" I apologised.
"It's fine seriously, stop apologising I'm okay!" He laughed as he helped me up off of the floor, ugh even his laugh was perfect!
"Looks like we had the same idea!" I said as we walked across the shop over to the tills, he also had a coffee balancing on a book in his hand, the other hand was still full of coffee soaked napkins.
"Aha yeah! My plane is 4 hours late so I thought a book would pass the time."
"Wait, you don't happen to be going to Sydney, Australia do you?!" I asked a little too eagerly.
"Yeah, I'm guessing you are too?!" I nodded to try and play it a little more cool. We payed for our books and chatted for a while after he insisted to buy me a new coffee and then he got a phone call so I left him to his own devices. All I could think as I was leaving was, I think I'm kinda starting to like this guy...
