Permanent Vacation

Chapter 4

I woke up to Chase standing, again in his boxers, at the opposite side of the room. We had two single beds that only had a bedside table in between and a tv on a stand opposite it. He was on the phone to what I assumed was room service as it sounded like he was ordering food. I sat up and whispered "Hey, Chase! Can you order me some pancakes please?" He turned his head and winked at me, just like he did last night. "Already on it!" He said before thanking the person on the the other end of the phone and jumping back under the covers of his bed so I could only see from his waist upwards. He was smiling like crazy, "So do you have any plans for today?" He asked.
"I think I'm gonna do a bit of shopping, I didn't pack as many clothes as I thought I did. To be fair I wasn't in a very good state when I was packing anyway!" I joked. He laughed, "Do you mind if I come with you? I'm in the same situation!"
"Yeah that'll be great, we need to hire a car then so we can get to a mall without having to keep taking cabs everywhere."
"I was actually just on the phone to room service and this hotel had a hire car service so we could check that out."
"Sounds good!" I said. Our breakfast was delivered to our room and then we got up and got changed before heading down to the lobby to ask about the hire cars. When it was all sorted Chase drove us to the nearest mall. I bought a pair of ripped black jeans and a few t-shirts and sweaters to last me the week. For some reason I brought every pair of jeans I owned with me, but no t-shirts.

After we had finished shopping we decided that we would go back to the hotel, get ready and go out somewhere for dinner. I wore a tight black dress with a red and black shirt tied around my waist and Chase wore some black jeans, a white shirt and a black jacket with some black converse. Damn he looked good! We walked to a fancy restaurant and got seated. We ordered a starter, main and dessert each which were all delicious. After the meal we went for a walk around Sydney harbour. It was beautiful at night.
"I've had the best night, thank you so much Chase!"
"Me too Hailey, I know we've only known each other for like 3 days  but I feel like I've known you a lot longer!"
"Yeah it's like I've known you forever" I looked up to his ocean blue eyes and he looked into mine.
"You're really pretty Hailey."
"You are too" Shit! "Well not pretty but.." He pulled me close and kissed me to stop my babbling , I kissed him back. We were making out in Sydney harbour! This trip was the best decision I've ever made.
