So over the past week or two I've been getting new furniture for my room. First I got a new bookcase, which was rad because I needed one of those .... Also I didn't have to pay for it. It wasn't anything fancy though, just a black bookcase from target, but it still works and so far it hasn't broke or anything. Then yesterday I got a desk and chair, (which I DID have to pay for ) and got that set up. Once again it isn't anything spectacular, just some more cheap build it yourself furniture. I am very happy though, I've been wanting a desk for a couple years now so I overjoyed when my parents brought it in.
The only problem that I've had with all this new furniture is that I have had to rearrange my room a little bit, especially with my desk. The bookcase wasn't too bad when it came to rearranging, I just moved my laundry basket and boom! It had a place. I didn't have to move my bean bag (which is huge) so I was good. BUT THEN I got my desk which is an l-shaped desk and I only have one free corner so that is where it had to go. The desk is a pretty decent size, especially when you add the chair, it's not huge but at the same time it's not small either...it's like a medium sized desk. Anyways since it's the size that it is, it invaded the space of where my bean bag belongs, so I had to change the layout of most of my bedroom.
Anyways I'm super happy with how it looks, it does have a bit of a doctor who theme to it... But I'm excited to have a proper place to write and do edits or whatever I want to do.
