Yesterday, I had my semi formal for school and it was more fun than I was expecting it to be. Now I'm not a person who listens to popular music which could be my down fall seeing as that is what they were playing most of the time, but I had a large group of friends who were there with me. So here's my semi formal story.
It was on friday, June 3 and I had to get ready for the entire thing by myself. Alex had her sister doing her make up, while Cornelia was helping lilybet so I had no one. The formal started at 6 so I had to be ready by at least 5:45 so I could be there on time. I started my makeup at 4:50 so I could do the whole makeup routine that I do for special events. I got my concealer, foundation, eyeshadow, and eyeliner on before I heard a house come from downstairs. It was my step mother! I had almost forever doing my makeup! I now only had ten minutes to put on my skirt, shirt and tie. Which wouldn't wouldn't have been a problem if I didn't misplace my undershirt. I really needed my undershirt, because like all women's clothes my shirt was basically see through. I ended up putting a black tank top under my shirt, which wasn't what I orginally planned. I struggled to tie my tie and put on my heels but I did it, all in the time that I needed to, and this was my finally result.

So my stepmother, younger brother and I all hoped into the truck to drive down to my school. When we got there my step mom said that she was going to wait for my dad so they can go eat so I decided to wait with them, besides I hadn't gotten a text from any of my friends saying that they were here. So I waited, until I got a text from my date, Cornelia ( we were going as friends cause no one asked out either of us) saying that she had arrived. Luckily my dad arrived at that time and jumped out, wished him goodbye and hurried towards the media center.
As I was walking over there I passed a janitor and Mrs.Carivana both we extremely nice and the janitor even have me a compliment. It was great, he was a nice man. So I continued on towards the main entrance where I would be meeting up with Corn. Mrs.Conder stopped me at the door, she's one of my favorite teachers💚, and gave me a hug while telling me that I looked good. After a pulled away from Mrs.Conder I was greeted by corn standing by my side. Kinda made me jump, I'm not gonna lie. Anyways we continued inside, where the party was.
