(Chapter 2)

“Unless you want me to beat the shit out of you, I suggest you do something” A very furious deep voice said, I’ve never heard someone so angry and vile before.

What has gotten into the person who is speaking like this?

Dark pitch that’s all I saw, I was trying to reach back to that loud voice but it almost seemed impossible-it was impossible. Frustration reached my body and head as I was trying to move around but I couldn’t, why couldn’t I move? I can’t even see any parts of my body it’s I’m lost in this cold dark world where I cannot even communicate with anyone else but myself. What is going on? Why can’t I see anything? What’s going on?

‘Lady wake up’. Was I all I was hearing, it’s the same deep male voice except he was shouting anymore but seemed much calmer.

Come on, I need to get out of here, or wherever I am I need to fight it. Speedily, a bright light hit my weak sapphire eyes. Quickly shutting them back the darkness returned but I knew that I fought the power and I was fully back to the normal world. Slowly, opening my eyes again the first thing I saw was a pair of dreary eyes but with a strong sense of blue. Why does it feel like I’ve seen them before? This time instead of just looking at this person’s eyes I looked at their face, a shadow growing around the jaw and chin and short cut hair this is a man. But not any man this is-

“Are you ok?” He said cutting in between from me communicating with myself.

It’s like someone shoved a brick down my dry throat so I could not speak, but here that wasn’t the case. I found myself nodding my head. He frowned but nodded his head moving away from my face. His presence was still here and I was finding it hard to try and focus. He was the voice I was hearing the angry and calm one.

“Oh looks like you are finally awake. How are you feeling?” A man said from out of nowhere.

I looked to my right and saw an older man wearing a long white coat and smiling at me. He must be a doctor, what am I doing in a hospital? Wait, I’m confused. He came and sat down next to ‘him’ I was still freaking out. He’s here; I’ve always wanted to actually see him with my own eyes.

“I….I don’t…do…know…wh…what’s going on?” I managed to blurt out; the doctor (I think) smiled and came close to put his warm hand on my forehead.

“Here let me help you up, and I will explain everything” He got up and put his hands around my back and got me in a sitting position while slowly making my head rest on the back of the uncomfortable wall-but I didn’t complain.

I focused my eyes on the doctor and tried not to look at him otherwise I don’t know what I would do.

“You had a car accident” My eyes widened from what he told me, a car accident?

I don’t even remember.

“Car accident?” I said to him, he nodded his head and looked at ‘him’ who I couldn’t help but look at myself.

“This gentleman here said you were randomly walking on the street and he never saw you and accidentally hit you with his car, you were apparently crying? If you remember you really have to tell me” The doctor said pleadingly.

Crying? Wait….I remember dad, mom….Rome. Rome cheated on me I went home mom was cheating on dad and I came to see dad, dad…..oh my gosh dad. I could feel my eyes fill with salted water as the coldness poured down my cheek.

“Hey, here’s a tissue” His deep voice said, I felt a tissue in my hand as I took it towards my face and wiped my cold-blooded tears.

That means I’m in a hospital, I looked around and it was. I turned to the doctor who was looking at me blankly.
