6. Scares and Surprises

Fixing the last strand of hair into a ponytail, I left my room, ready to take two yahoos to a theme park. Tao and Baekhyun waited for me by the door, their eyes shimmering with excitement. I smoothed out my shorts and said my goodbyes.

"Ok~ Follow me, it'll take about 10 minutes."

And after a short walk consisted of Tao's whining and Baek's questions, we finally arrived at the grand entrance.

"Oh wow, it's huge!"

"That's what she said.." Tao commented with a giggle.

I face palmed and Baek laughed hysterically. What a bunch of idiots. I took out the map of the park and examined it as we walked. Nothing much but food and "win a prize games".

"So guys, where you wanna go first?"

Baekhyun squealed and pointed to a gloomy near-by building, "That! Let's try that first!"

I whined and shook my head, "Butttt... why the scary house? there is so many things yet you chose that."

Baek grabbed my sleeve and pulled me closer so that his mouth was next to my ear. "Be quiet, shh. Tao is really scared of these places, please~" I giggled a little and re thought that idea. Well to be honest, I do love pranks, so this harmless one is worth it.

Tao looked at me with pleading eyes, his gaze asking me to go away, yet i was such a cruel being.

"Race you to the exit!" I shouted behind me as I ran into the scary house, Baek following right behind me. Tao's faint protests could be heard in the distance as he dragged himself inside.

Me and Baekhyun split ways in the labyrinth like house, both hoping to come across a scared Tao.

With my terrible luck, I ended up in the medical themed rooms. I'm not some little kid who is scared easily, but mad doctors holding medical tools gives me chills. Just something about a evil doctor messing up your operation and slowly torturing you makes me seriously uneasy. The rooms had white tiles splattered with blood and metal hospital beds scattered everywhere. There were organ jars and IV bags filled with blood. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck rise just thinking about it. So I distracted my self with the image of Tao's scared face as I kept walking. Shortly after I suddenly bumped my body against a human like figure and I retorted in fear. My gaze slowly travelled up and my eyes met a bloody nurse holding up a syringe. As if fear paralysed me right there and then, I only gasped. Failing to take a step back, I saw another two medical staff show up behind the nurse.

The nurse giggled and spoke up in a spoiled brat voice, "Oh don't worry little girly, these are just costumes. But that doesn't mean we cant hurt you."

Finally getting my legs to work, I whimpered and stumbled back. But to my horror, two pairs of hands grabbed my arms, digging their fingernails into my skin.

The nurse shook her head in disapproval, "Tsk, tsk. You can't leave yet, the fun's just began."

A sharp metal object was put to my throat and I immediately acknowledged the threatening situation I was in. These people weren't fooling around, they were serious about hurting me. Before my brain could process anything, my mouth opened on it's own, about to scream a single sound, but instead a name came out.

"BAEKHYUN! HELP!" I felt tears brim at the corner of my eyes as I wondered if Baek heard me. Maybe he was already outside patiently waiting for me to show up. My vision started blurring from the tears, but suddenly, a bright light blinded me.

On instinct I flinched away and soon I felt the hands who used to be holding me down being ripped of me with force. A hand circled around my waist and a comforting body pressed against me.

"You ok princess?"

I opened my eyes to find Baek grinning sheepishly and sending a wink my way. "Your night in shining armour has arrived."

Relief washed over my body and my arms automatically wrapped themselves around Baekhyun as I let the tears stream down my face.

"B-baek, I was so scared" I whined and he patted my head while smiling.

"You aren't hurt, right?"

"No... but they put a knife to my neck I thought  I was gonna die!" I burst into tears again and nuzzled my face in his chest.

I looked in front of us and spotted the 5 twenty-somethings whimpering on the floor.

"Wha- W - WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!?" One of them screamed as he pointed at Baekhyun.

Baek turned around and stared the guy straight in the eyes, "All you need to know is I'm dangerous if you hurt my girl." Beak paused then chuckled, "And you hurt my girl."

He took one step forward and they all scrambled to their feet and sprinted out the house. Baek lit up the room as he grabbed my hand and we both ran out of there too. 

We found Tao sitting at a bench near the exit. "Ya! What took you guys so long?" He immediately lowered his voice when he saw my teary eyes.

He stood up and ran to us, talking 50 miles per hour. "oh my what happened were you crying why are you crying are you ok are you hurt do I need to wushu someone?"

I giggled ant ruffled his hair, "I'm fine now, so stop worrying. Baek was there to help me."

Tao huffed and gave up, deciding to question later. "Can we go win prizes now?"

"Yeah, of course!" I took his hand and started skipping to the right direction.

"Haha, guys, go on without me! I'm gonna get us some food!" Baek said as me and Tao started working on our master plan.

"Okok so." I said hurriedly.

"So." Tao awkwardly replied.

" SO, I was thinking, since Baek isn't here to watch us right now... We could use your time control!" I exclaimed excitedly but Tao's hand landed over my mouth to quiet me down.

"Shh! People can't hear that!"

"Ah ...yes," I nervously giggled but then we both evilly smiled, ready to commence project evil.

We walked up to an archery stand and I paid for Tao to play a game. We were going for 5 bulls-eyes so we could get the giant teddy. Tao shot the first arrow and stopped time when it was half way to the target. He winked at me and then pulled the arrow to the mid point of the target. He came back to his spot and snapped his fingers, returning everything to normal.

We both laughed and repeated the process 4 more times. The cashier clapped and handed Tao the big panda bear, who held a resemblance to Tao himself.

He smiled and handed me the bear that I already adored so much. "Here. A gift for taking us to such a fun place." I smiled and held onto Tao's shoulder, getting on my tiptoes.

"Thank you," I said quietly and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. He furiously blushed but there was no time to deal with that now, since Baekhyun was walking back to us.

"Wow! How'd you get that?" Baek gasped while caressing the panda's fur.

"Mr. Panda here is really good at archery," Me and Tao both laughed.

"Anyway, got you guys this," Baek handed us each a bucket of nutella dipped churros. I squealed in delight since churros were so sugary and pleasing to my stomach. I took a bite and smiled at both of the childish boys.

"Come on guys, the rest must be bored without us!" We linked hands and started our walk back home, nibbling on the tasty pastry on our way.
