These are the last few chapters and I'm sorry this one totally sucked. I promise the next one will be way better. I just had ZERO inspiration in this one. -_- mehh

On a happier note this chapter is dedicated to EveWrite, one of the nicest girls ever. She's so sweet and has lifted my self confidence through the roof. She puts so much detail into her books and you feel like you're there while it's all happening. Check out her book "Lost", you will not be disapointed :)

~Black Canary~

I couldn't quite understand the way I was feeling. It was almost like my entire life was fixed but broken terribly at the same time. Wilbur was gay and we'd kissed. I wasn't sure to be mad at him or mad at me. I guess I was just glad he'd told me, even if it meant my fairy tale would never come true.

"Oh..." I said. It wasn't an annoyed or particularly sad "Oh", it was a concluding one.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, holding my hand from across the table, "You're an amazing girl Irma, just not...for me."

"I get it." I faked a smile. I wondered if him and Nikki had talked about this while I was gone, had he confided in her? I bet he had.

"I'm starving!" Nikki burst out of the room "Who wants to go eat out?"

I sat nervously in the passenger seat beside Nikki, hoping we wouldn't run into Anne again as we pulled into the parking lot of our local Burger Hut. When Nikki finally found a reasonable place to park we all got up to leave.

"I really have to pee, you guys catch up." Nikki laughed and burst out the doors before I could stop her. It was obvious she wanted Wilbur and I to talk again or she'd have just used the bathroom here. I wasn't against talking to him, but I didn't think there was anything to talk about.

"That was weird." Wilbur broke the silence. I laughed in agreement and back up to let him out first. He held open the door for me like a true gentlemen and I skipped out, almost a little too giddy.

We walked violently close to the doors. I looked in the giant windows under the big tacky 'Welcome' sign and was pleased to see Anne wasn't present. Wilbur's hand brushed my cold shoulder and I jerked my head towards his.

"What?" I stifled. He sighed and seemed to search for the right words.

"Do you want to go to prom with me--?" He asked. My eyes darted around. Why was he asking me that? My hands began to sweat and I shoved them deep in the pockets of my jeans.

"--as friends, I mean." He corrected himself, noticing my confusion.

We neared the doors and he opened it for me once again. The question circled my brain as I hopped inside. I looked to him. His eyes seemed to sparkle in the crappy fast food lights and the snide grin on his face was almost funny.

"Of course I will." I said and I play punched him on the arm. He gave me a nervous laugh before pointing out the mass of brown curls poking out from a menu across the room. We walked over and Nikki let the menu hit the table abruptly.
