Jacob.
I leaned against the cold brick wall as the door to the restaurant opened. I looked to my right and saw Craig and Breaunna leaving. They shared a kiss and went their separate ways. I cringed so hard. As she walked by, she glared at me while dialing someone's number. I walked over to her and tried to stop her. "Bre, just wait! Let me explain." "Explain what?! Explain how you ruined my date??" I sighed.
"Breaunna, can you just sit and listen? Please." She rolled her eyes and stood there.
"Fine." She said with her hand placed on her hip.
"I've been a mess lately, if you can't tell," I started. "I just can't seem to get anything right anymore. Ever since you moved and didn't want anything to do with me, I thought I could do whatever I wanted. I mean I thought I wouldn't even have to worry about being in this spot but I can't help it. When I left home, the real reason I came to you was because I miss you and I realized there's no other place I'd be than in the same home as you doing all that we could've done before I fucked up. And it kills me to see you happy with another man. Please just come back to me. I promise things will be so different." I began shedding tears and kissing her. I could tell she began crying as well. She pushed me off."You had your chance, Jacob. I love you, but this can't work. I'm sorry." I began crying harder. "Breaunna, please! Don't do this to me!" She shook her head. "I'm sorry." She turned and walked away.
