Dear mi padre que nunca conoció mis problemas
knowing how much you hurt me and the effect that thing has.
Never once did you stop and think
" Is this okay?"
Of course you didn't instead you carried on becoming more grey
You started to dissolve like water in the palm of my hand
slowly fading away till there's only a strand
How dare you ask me for another chance
When you threw away the rest that you already had
Did you ever think how I felt?
Whether I wanted you around?
Of course I did, but couldn't you have just been normal and backed down
To have a normal conversation where I don't have to stand my ground
You tell me you're proud
And how much I'd love to believe it
But I know in your eyes
That the drug's your gold pit
Whilst I'm the thing on the side
Which you gave up on and quite
Goodbye mi padre hope you have a blast
and see that your body will surely not last
And know I'll be here waiting for you to be
A father for not just a day but infinite
