"Eden I'm here Eden."
Here voice echoed in my head over and over. Her memory was everywhere. Her smell still in my nose, her feel on my body.
"Eden, come closer Eden."
I remembered every single part of her. The lovely humming sound she made when she slept, the way she would let my name roll off her tongue.
"You like that don't you baby?"
I remembered her laugh. I felt it ring through me, through the house all the time.
I remembered how she could always make me laugh. No matter how sad I was. I remembered how she always took care of me, even if I had the lightest fever.
"Eden it's fine now I'm here."
I remembered how she would light up my life with her smile. The corners of her mouth would curve into a perfect arc, that tiny detail filling my soul with light. Tears flowed down my cheeks at the memory, the pain in my heart became unbearable.  I didn't care that I was a man, I didn't care that I was supposed to be strong. I wailed out loud, screaming my lungs out, tasting my salty tears.
"I love you Eden."
I hugged my knees to my chest. Remembering how she would always hug me to herself. Her warm beautiful hugs, how she would whisper sweet words into my ear. I loved holding her in my arms, feeling her close to my body, feeling her body against mine. More tears rolling down my cheeks at the memory. I was destroying myself, my sorrow was killing me. I was tired of it all, I  was tired of my life without her.
"Eden are you ok?" Diego had asked
"Yes I'm fine."
"Are you sure? You don't look too good bro, " Mikel had added.
"I said I'm fine!"
That had gotten me worried looks and stunned silence.
"Um ok then," they had both said.
I wasn't just hurting myself, I was hurting the people around me too. Every night I tried to get to sleep every night it was the same.
"Goodnight Eden."
I couldn't function without her and everyday I cursed myself for not being good enough for her. Everyday that horrible day flashed before my eyes.
"Hi Eden, how was your day?" she asked getting up to hug me.
I stood still, didn't open up for her.
"Who's that guy you where talking to earlier?" I had asked.
"Oh you mean my friend Aaron, he's from high school we haven't seen in years he was just stopping by."
"So that justified the fact that you flirted with him?"
"What?!" she asked stunned.
"Oh please don't give me that, you little cheat," I screamed right in her face.
"How dare you?!"
The rest was always too painful for me to remember. I had gotten aggressive and she had left, bruises on her face, and the worst was a scar near her eye. I couldn't believe I had caused that.
"Let go of me! Eden!"
I tried to get up. My legs gave way, I collapsed on the floor, I was a mess. I spread my arms on the floor crying.  I wasn't  only hurting my heart, I was hurting my body. There was alcohol all over the place, the glass kept hurting me. There were cuts and scars all over my body. But I didn't care, some weren't accidents, I had made them.
"Eden please you're hurting me please stop, please stop."
Sometimes I tried to cry and I realised I was out of tears. I distanced myself from everyone and everything, it was better that way. She never answered my calls and I knew she saw my texts but she never answered. I tried going to her old apartment but she had moved, with the instructions that if I came in shouldn't be informed where she was.
"Get away from me you animal, you're a beast you hear me."
She was gone and I only wished she'd find love and happiness with someone else.
"I love you (y/n)."
