Chapter 3: Stalking

Normal POV

Inuyasha followed Kagome after school, to make sure she will be safe...and to find out where she lived. Once Inuyasha was sure she was inside her house,
he left. He was unaware of the same red eyes that observed his every movement.

Inuyasha  walked back to his house, which was further away from school than hers.
'I hope dad gets my bike fixed for tomorrow. It would be easier to go to school...And to follow her anywhere.' he thought.

Once Inuyasha got home, his parents were already in the living room, waiting for him.
"Where have you been,son? It's already late." his mother asked him as she engulfed him in a tight hug.
He looked at wall clock by the kitchen, '7:00 pm'
'I've been gone for an hour?'

Izayoi-- his mom, released him. "I don't want you walking home again, understand?"
Her son nodded.

She nodded and went to the kitchen, saying "I'm going to prepare dinner now. Get changed, son."

Mr. Taisho, who was quiet this whole time, decided to speak.

"Son, why don't you sit down."

His voice was exactly like Inuyasha's. Cold and monotonous . Inuyasha did what he was told and sat at the opposite end of the couch. He looked at his father,waiting for a word from him.

"I'm going to get your bike for you tomorrow so you wouldn't be late for school. But why were you late coming home?"

Inuyasha looked away and actually blushed. He stared off into nothing as he spoke.
"I just made sure that she was safe as she went home." 

Mr.Taisho stared at his son waiting for an explanation.

"Kagome. That's her name. I had a dream about a girl last night and Kagome was the exact copy of her."

Mr.Taisho thought about it, the story was somehow similar to how he met Izayoi.
"And how did you feel when you saw her?" he asked his son.
Inuyasha looked at his father.
"Something...new. It was so good. The aura around her was warm and comforting. For the first time, I didn't feel empty. And it only happened when I'm near her."

Mr. Taisho studied his son's features. In his eyes, he could see an emotion. It was way different from his usually cold eyes. His cheeks were slightly glowing. And what surprised him the most, was his son was actually smiling a bit . He nodded at his son.
"Well, I'm glad to know that you found somebody to love,son. Just work hard then you might win her over. I was in your shoes once."
He patted his son on the head and went to help his wife in the kitchen instead.

INUYASHA'S POV

'Dad was in my shoes once?'
Well, he never really told me how he and mom met.

I went upstairs to my bedroom and locked the door behind me. I sat on my bed and stared at my lonely room.
( Note: If you know Y.S then you know this.) It was rectangular. It had a corkboard next to the door. 'Maybe I could put pictures of Kagome there...?'

I have a computer by the window.
'I wonder if we could be friends on the social media?'

I have a drawer with a book shelf on it, next to the door.
'I wonder if Kagome likes mangas too...'

I have a T.V and a X-Box next to my bed.
'I wonder if she likes video games...Or what movies does she like?'

I decided not to slack off and think about Kagome...even though it was tempting.
I stood up and walked over to my drawer and pulled out house clothes. I went to eat dinner with mom and dad.
