Chapter 5: Those Rivals...

AT HOME (Inuyasha's POV)

Once I was in my room, I sat down on my bed. I took out my phone and looked for the photo I took earlier. I walked over to my computer and printed it. I posted the photo on my corkboard. Without bothering to get changed, I plopped back down in my bed.

'That photo from that fairytale book...It's not a coincidence...Kagome and I were together in another life... So I'm sure we're meant to be.' 
I grinned at the thought. Kagome and I. Together. The two of us. Lovers. Then I suddenly remembered about the two males who currently take interest in Kagome.

'It's almost Friday. Koga is still alive. What if Koga still plans on taking her out on a date...? NO! I will not allow it!'

I fisted my hands and gritted my teeth. The thought of Koga going near her. It was maddening. I stood up and started pacing. 
'I could stalk him...Check if he's still going.'

I quickly changed clothes and went to the kitchen to get dinner. I went to the living room and watched T.V while I ate. On the screen was an old news.

Hakurei News Report:

"16 year-old student from Shikon High was injured after supposedly tried to commit suicide."the female said.

Then on the screen was Koga, sitting in an ambulance.

"This is the student. Koga Wolfe. Tell me,Mr. Wolfe, why did you try to commit suicide?"

Koga looked shock.

"I- I didn't. A-All I-I remember was, I was just by the railings and I guess..." He narrowed his eyes, trying to remember. His head hurt. He continued.
"...I slipped... I- I can't remember..." 

The female looked at the young man with sympathy.

"As you can see, people, the young man seems to be suffering from trauma, resulting in memory-loss. "

I turned off the T.V, feeling satisfied with what happened to Koga.

'Koga doesn't remember anything...I'm off the hook...' I smirked.

'But I still need to finish him off'

I washed my dish and proceeded to my room. I opened my computer. Kagome wasn't online. Her last post in the Shikon High facebook page:

"Does anybody know how old the Cherry Blossom Tree behind the school is?"

I can't answer that. I browsed facebook for Kagome's account page.
At last, I found it. Her account was filled with pictures of her, her family and friends-who were all girls. But there's this one photo that caught my attention. She was smiling next to that boy. I thought in jealousy,
'Hojo...'
I growled and copy-pasted the photo. I printed it and stucked it on the corkboard. I crossed my arms and stared at it hard. That boy still needs to go. I looked at my desk. An innocent red marker stared at me, willing me to pick it up. So I did. With my twitching hand, I dragged the marker tip on the photo from earlier. Around Kagome, I drew a heart. Since Hojo was still around, I left his image alone.

I walked back to my computer
to print the pictures I like (read:love). I looked at the few (read: huge stack) of Kagome's pictures. Since I don't have the album to put the photos in, I arranged the photos and placed them on my desk. I went to my bed and lied down.
I let sleep take over and I dreamed of her again...

THURSDAY (Normal POV)

Inuyasha got ready and went to school early. In hopes of watching Koga, He stood by the lockers. After waiting, Koga showed up with his two bestfriends. Koga walked slowly to his locker,trying not to strain his muscles. After that 'accident', he was  more careful not to trigger his pain.
Inuyasha stood opposite to Koga's locker. With his hearing, he eavesdropped on their conversation. The same brown haired wolf-demon started."So Koga...Tomorrow's Friday. Are you still going to take Kagome out on a date?" Koga looked at his bestfriend. "Well, if course. I'll ask her later." Inuyasha ran to his classroom, having heard enough.
