Manicured nails ,pretty clothes ,dolled up hair as the list goes
To judge our character,our personal woes
How can you tell me this is what defines who we are
Cant you see thats taking it way to far
Looking down on yourself well listen to this
Dont say your not pretty because you are
Dont say your not smart because you are
Dont say your worthless because you aren't
The reason I know this is because I've been through this about myself
But now I know being yourself is beauty itself
Not trying to be a model, being that skinny, im not going to even try to be that healthy
Putting on all that makeup is a handful
Adding extra things when you cant even believe in youself to be pretty
Take time to look at yourself in the mirror because all that stuff is just an enhancement of what you already are
Like Khalil Gibran said "beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart"
