Why can't everyone see me for the person who I am.
That's why I seem invisible to the world because I don't think they'd understand.
My style, my hair, the clothes that I wear it's unique not weird.
So don't look at me that way and cast me away.
Does everyone not realize we are one in the same.
All different colors sizes and shapes.
People in this world play a sick cruel game and I will not sit here and be played
It's time for me to live free and fly out
Like a caged bird finally getting out
I'm spreading my wings to my future.
And leaving the cage of my past.
No longer will I be the person who everyone want but my true self is who'll I'll flaunt.
Understand this and heed it well don't be who they want.
Feel free to be free in your own skin because you'll be happy then.
Don't think about those ifs ,ands and buts because you'll use it as an excuse.
Realize who you are if you don't already know.
Because what I've come to terms with is not everyone will understand
Keep the ones that do close and the ones that don't cast them aside.
Now that this poems done this is what I'll leave you, you are beautifully uniquely you and be with the people that understand you.
