"To be found, I have to put myself out there."
I walk into Biology glad I can sit down and rest. I plop down in my usual seat near the back. Good, empty as usual. I stretch my legs out and rest them on the neighboring seat. Closing my eyes I hear the sound of feet shuffling toward me. Opening one eye I see the blonde girl walking closer and closer to me with a smile on her face. Why me? Why now?
“Hey!” she almost screams eyeing the chair next to me.
Grumbling I move my feet so she can sit down. I turn my head to her as she places her jeweled bag on the ground and sits down next to me. I can see guy’s heads turning at the sight of her face. I snort. They are practically drooling.
“So.”
I return my gaze to her to find her staring down at my leg. She reaches her hand out and places it on my thigh. I shiver at the touch and stare at her with wide eyes.
“What-“
She leans over and begins to whisper in my ear.
“I told you already, I like you.”
I stumble to my feet and wave my hands frantically in the air. Causing heads to turn and stare.
“What do you mean you like me?!”
She giggles and pulls me back down. People begin to get bored and return to talking in groups.
“I really like you.” She says purring.
I gulp at the words. Do I really find her attractive? I don’t even know her name.
“What-what is your name.” I squeak out.
“It’s Leilah.”
She reaches out to my hand and grabs it. I sigh and smash my head into the desk. I can feel her playing with each finger in amusement. Is she doing this on purpose? I groan at the thought.
