I pull my hand back and punch the member right on the nose. Blood comes poring out onto her shirt.
"This is a brand new top!" She shouts at me as blood pours into her mouth as well.
I stifle a laugh. I couldn't help myself. I turn to start heading to my class and bump right into the principal who grabs me and pulls me to his office.
We reach his office. "Shelly," he says. "How many times has this happened this year?"
"30ish..."
"We can't have this in our school-"
"SHE started it. Not me. I shouldn't be the only one getting punished!"
"I get that, and we will be talking to her."
Suddenly the door opens. The only other rebel of the school, Blake Harvey, is being dragged into the office by the vice principal. "Kicked a boy in the soft spot," he states to the principal.
He looks a Blake, then me, then Blake again, then me. "What will I do with you two."
I didn't notice I was staring at Blake, not until he said, "uhh, is there a reason your staring at me?" And I flip away.
"I think, "the principal said. "We will have to put you both in the rebel room for a week. Then hopefully something good will come of it. If nothing does, we will have to expel you."
The thought didn't sound so bad, to be expelled, I mean. I can't stand this school! But being in the same room as Blake Harvey? No way! There was no way I could do it.
"I'm OK with that," Blake says.
I don't want to say anything but my lips move without my permission. "Me too."
"I guess it's settled then!" The principal says with a huge smile.
