The rebel room. The most feared room of the whole school. I didn't want to be here. I just kinda wanted to be with Blake.
If you haven't guessed already, I like Blake. I have liked Blake since the 1st grade. I have never talked to him before though.
He breaks the silence in the room first. "What's your name?"
"Shelly. And your Blake."
"Everyone knows me...it sucks."
"Why? Everyone knows your name you are the most known kid in school. Who wouldn't want that?"
"Less privacy. Less trustworthy friends."
"Oh...you know how in every school there is the bully, the popular kid, the nerd and the kid always being bullied?"
"Ya."
"I feel like the kid always being bullied. All people care about is to hurt me and-"
"Shelly, I would never want to hurt you. Who would want to hurt someone as beautiful as you?"
I turn away, trying to hide my blush. No one has ever called me beautiful. Let alone my childhood crush.
"Are you-are you...blushing?"
"No! Well-maybe..."
"I'll tell you a secret then you will tell me how long you have liked me. Deal?"
"I don't like you!"
He smiles. "Your a terrible liar."
"Tell me your secret."
"I honestly feel like I like you. I've seen you around since 1st grade, but I was always to shy to talk to you or even ask your name."
"I've had a crush on you since 1st grade..." we both turn away this time to hide our blush.
"Now your blushing!" I say.
"No! Well, maybe."
I giggle. "That is the most beautiful sound I have ever heard," Blake says.
Blake inches toward me. The silence not awkward at all. Our faces get closer and closer until....
