Chronicles Academy was amazing. It was in three parts. There was the main building with the classrooms, administrative offices and the large dining hall. There was a hospital also within the premises, with nurses and doctors there. Apparently if you mastered the Water Element you could heal any ailment. There was the boys living quarters and the girls living quarters. They were a few metres apart though and after reading the school rules I knew both parties were not allowed to be in each other's dorms.

There was also the teachers' cottages a few kilometres from the main buildings.

There was a boarding master living in the boys dorms to ensure rules were kept. In the girls dorms there was a matron who also ensured things ran smoothly.

The school was really green. Lawns and green trees surrounded it. I bet they looked beautiful when the seasons changed. There was a very thick and dark forest surrounding the school as well. There was the ocean a few kilometres away from the school and I was really looking forward to running on top of the warm sand, swimming in the cool waters and taking long nature walks in that dark and green forest. For a moment I wondered if my dream took place in that very ocean. I shook that thought away though.

The pavements were gorgeous and they were used to divide the buildings and also used as pathways.

My dorm room was amazing-bigger than my room in the castle. Inside there were two tiny wardrobes, two bedside drawers in each of our beds, two single yet comfortable beds from both ends of the room. There were two desks and chairs from both ends of the room. The room was painted in a soft yellow and the curtains were white. It had a very welcoming feel to it, I loved it. The only thing I didn't think I would like was the communal bathrooms at the end of the dorms downstairs.

There was a common room with big comfortable sofas, a huge TV and games there. I think I was going to love that room, watch TV for the first time without worrying about my stepmother, that would be awesome.
I hadn't met my roommate yet but I was looking forward to that.

I had unpacked my bags, ironed my uniforms at the Ironing rooms. I was so ready for Monday.

There were girls all over the place but everyone was minding their own business or hanging out with their friends. I didn't think people would appreciate me throwing myself at them.

I looked outside the window, all those students laughing, throwing balls at each other, gossiping, giggling, flirting and I wanted to be a part of all that one day soon.

I packed my school bag with notebooks, pens and pencils. The textbooks were going to be given to us tomorrow on our first day I think.
I looked over my timetable.
I had eight subjects that I was going to study.

There was going to be Supernatural History, Power Mastering, Attack and Defense, Visions, War Tactics, Potions, Languages and Horticulture.

I was sure there were other subjects but those were the ones I was going to be doing this year. I was really excited about that. I was going to do four of the subjects before lunch and the other four after lunch.

Breakfast was at 6:30am to 7:30am.
Classes started at 8am.
Lunch was at 1pm to 2pm.
Classes continued right after that until 4pm.
Dinner was at 6pm to 8pm.
Lights out were at 10pm during the week, and at midnight weekends.

I woke up with a start as my dorm room opened. I had fallen asleep pretty late after I had given up waiting up for my roommate so I could introduce myself.

"Sorry-did I wake you?" A soft voice whispered.

"Are you my roommate?" I asked as I sat up abruptly pulling my blankets to cover my night dress.
