Chapter 7

Chapter 7-

Ahhhh it's been a while I'm sorry

Amanda's POV

"A..Amanda" Bonnie trails off and I look down in time to see her collapse. "LIVV" I yell, "stay with me baby" I whisper as Olivia comes running towards us "she collapsed we need a bus" I say frantically "okay okay" she shakily picks up the phone "this is detective Olivia Benson, 16th precinct, I need a bus to my apartment quick, my daughter collapsed and is unresponsive"  she hangs up and joins me on the floor. Bonnie's head in my lap, Liv brushes her hair out of her eyes "I know it hasn't been easy baby but you need to hold on" tears well in her eyes.

Olivia's POV

I'm in the kitchen wondering what I could possibly make for Bonnie so she could keep it down. *breaking my train of thought* "LIVV" I hear Amanda yell fearing the worst I ran towards her only realizing the thing I feared the most is now a reality.

Next thing I know the bus arrives and they lift her on to a stretcher, people are talking to me but it's all a blur, Amanda has her arm around my body. The paramedics voice snaps me out of my trance "ma'am we need to transport her now." "Okay, okay" I say it quieter the second time, blindly following close behind, Amanda by my side.

*at the hospital*

I watch them swiftly wheel Bonnie into one of the trauma rooms and immediately begin working on her. After sometime the doctor arrives "those here for Bonnie Carson" a female doctor steps out from around the corner. "Yes" I say immediately standing up looking toward Amanda giving her the okay to follow. "Follow me" the doctor starts to walk swiftly stopping in front of a door that reads the number p44 (pediatrics room 44) "she was severely dehydrated and with her history of malnutrition it caused her blood pressure to plummet that's why she passed out, you can see her now but you need to be quiet and gentle, she is fragile right now she will need close monitoring" "thank you doctor I understand" I said before softly turning the silver handle. As I opened the heavy wood door I saw Bonnie's tiny frame  swallowed in the sheets and the room filled with the constant murmur of the machines.

Bonnie's POV

I slowly began to become more aware of my surroundings but my eyes were still closed. The soft beeping noise gradually became louder and I heard familiar voices in the room. I slowly started to blink my eyes open, feeling the intense effects of the medicine on my body, I moaned shifting in the bed. As I began to fully open my eyes I realized those voices were Olivia and Amanda who had stopped talking and came closer "I'm sorry" I murmured "shh everything is alright" Olivia said taking my cold hand into her warm one rubbing my knuckles with the pad of her thumb.  Next Amanda brushed my hair out of my eyes "hi baby girl" she said coming closer "you gave us both quite a scare" "just relax now and close your eyes everything is going to be okay" Olivia chimed in. With those words I slowly drifted to sleep.

*the next morning*

Olivia's POV

After Bonnie had fallen asleep I decided to tell Amanda it was okay to go home and get some rest it had been quite a long night and we both needed some time to gather ourselves.

Bonnie was still asleep so I decided to walk Amanda downstairs to her taxi, since we had both ridden in the ambulance to the hospital. She promised she'd be back with lunch and made me promise to call her if anything happened. With that I got back into the elevator to the Peds floor.

*meanwhile at the precinct*

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE ESCAPED?!" Cragen yelled slamming the phone down, he soon called everyone into his office to make the announcement "Patrick Carson has escaped holding, there was an issue at transfer as of twenty minutes ago, I will call Olivia everyone is dismissed" he said, his voice bitter.

*back at the hospital*

Olivia's POV

*phone rings* "Benson" I answered, "Liv there had been an issue with transfer and Patrick Carson escaped custody as of 20 minutes ago" Cragen says hesitantly, I feel my chest tighten and my heartbeat speed up. I end the call and begin a full sprint towards Bonnie's room only to see her sheets strewn onto the floor, chords and tubes hanging freely, connected to nobody.

*runs to the nurses station*

"Where is Bonnie Carson" dropping my badge on the desk, I ask demandingly out of breath, a young brown haired nurse answers "Her father just discharged her against medical advice no more than 5-10 minutes ago."

With shaky hands I call Amanda...
