An eternity.
I'm forever stuck in this world, crawling for my life. Crawling for my precious Yuu-Chan. I will get there, even if it takes forever.
But that's the thing. I don't have forever. I'm in a race against time to get there before he falls into hell. I can't let that happen to my angel.
I can't remember the last time I had a rest. It must have been... well... an eternity ago? Time works differently here than it does in the real world. There are no days or nights. Just inky darkness everywhere.
I think I'll have a break now. Although all one consists of is lying, panting on the marble floor, and either staring at my wounds or Yuu-Chan, still so far away.
I'll get there. I know I will.
There's a laugh behind me, and I turn to glance into the darkness. Suddenly the chains pull tight around my arms and legs, and they start pulling me back. The precious ground I've taken over hours can be lost if I don't start moving.
I get breaks of about 15 seconds before I need to start moving to prevent myself from losing ground. I'm so tired. So so tired. I have no energy at all. But I can't stop. If I was to sleep, I'd lose all the ground I've covered and more.
I'm still crawling, then. And I have absolutely no idea how long it will take to get there.
He's now about an inch tall.
I just keep telling myself I can do it.
I can't give up.
I will get there.
Even if it takes
an eternity.
