Chapter Eight.

"So, why did he come here?"

"He came 'cause he thought something was wrong." Alex took a sip of her favorite soda, Dr. Pepper. She felt the soda fizz and bubble in her mouth and down her throat.

"Why would he think that?" Sam reached for the Dr. Pepper can then paused, "Am I going to taste King Bieber lips when I drink this?"

AlexandraMarie's face heated as she shook her head, "No!" Her voice wasn't strong because the thought of Justin's lips on hers made her weak. "Of course not. We haven't." She cleared her throat, "kissed yet. Plus he came after we were screaming on the phone when I came here earlier."

"Oops." Sam took a sip of the soda and smacked her lips a couple of times. "So why haven't you two kissed yet, babe?"

   "Because we are waiting."

   "For?" She took another sip.

"Well for the wedding day. We want it to have spark and be magical." Alex came up with a lie on the spot.

"Aww, how sweet." Sam took a big gulp of soda and sighed. "Mmm, this is some good stuff."

"Yeah? I bet." Alex raised her eyebrow, "How do you like my soda, Sam?"

"Mm, it is very good." She said after another huge gulp.

   "Give me."

"No," She drunk more. "It's too good."

   "Sammie!" Alex whined.

"Hm?" She took the last gulp of the fizzy Dr. P. "Here." She handed her bestfriend the can/

"Not funny." Alex said after shaking the empty can causing a laugh to arupt from someone's throat. But it wasn't hers nor Samantha's. "God Justin. You scared me." She stood up.

"Sorry, for giving you a fright, love. It wasn't intended exactly." He chuckled.

   "Exactly?" Alex raised her eyebrow.

"Yes well I havve to have my fun too." He smiled and AlexandraMarie swore her heart just stopped.

"Yes, well, of course." She finally found her voice again,

   "Alex."

"I must be going." He looked down at her and pouted a bit as his hand caressed her cheek.

Heat flooded to her cheek as she flushed and she was sure he can feel it.

   "Really?"

"Yeah, I cancelled the meeting with the President of the United States today."

   "To come here?"

   "Yes."

"No," She pushed his hand away. "You shouldn't have done that. That meeting is important."

"No where near as important as your safety."

   "Yes it is."

"No it's not." He started then looked at her. "It's no big deal really, I rescheduled."

   "For when?"

   "Why?"

"Because when I want him to meet you, I want everyone to know you are mine. That is why we are to be married." He caressed her cheek again, "Did I upset you, my Queen?"

"No, well, I don't know. You shouldn't have done that for me."

"I," He leaned in closer to her face only milimeters apart from their lips touching, she could feel his breath touch her lips as he speak, "will do anything for you. Anything." He was about to crash his lips on hers.

The smell of Justin's colone went down her throat and burned it. Her breath hitched, his face so close to her own.

"Ahem." Sam cleared her throat which made them look at her, "As much I would love for you two to have a hardcore makeout session you can't. Sorry, but you should savor your kiss for the wedding."

"Oh," Justin smiled at Alex and pulled back. "Yes, you're right. We'll savor the moment."

Alex blinked repeatedly then nodded. She was relieved that he didn't kiss her, but somehow disappointed and left wanting to feel his lips pressed against her own. In a couple weeks she'll be wearing white and saying 'I do.'

"I must go now, Alex." He smiled at her and Alex felt frozen as she looked at him. "I'll see you next weekend, darling."

"O-Okay." Alex nodded, playing with some loose ends of her black and red curly hair.

"I will send for someone to take you to my palace." He slowly tucked the hair behind her ear and smiled.

"Okay. You should go." Alex doesn't want him to go but he must return back to his royal life. Her feelings for him are being bipolar.

"Yes, right. Samantha, it was nice meeting you. I hope I will see you at out wedding." He hugged her.

   "You know it."

"See you soon, love." Justin kissed Alex's head and disappeared out the door.
